Paccar boat anchors throughout this truck to bring you the most stress and headaches due to all the breakdowns and shop time that keep you from making any money. Paccar is shit.

Years ago, a Cummins dealer in Texas had a truck get away from them when the chain broke. They were cranking up the pressure on the dyno to put the truck under a load and when the chain broke, the truck went across the parking lot and through a fence. Luckily, no one was hurt. They put a big pile of dirt across the parking lot and kept the area clear in the event this type of thing occurred again. They also upgraded their tie down technique. I’ve watched several dyno tests from the side and when they crank it up to max resistance, it can get scary.

Yikes! Thanks for sharing this scary story! We’re glad ours is safe and secure.

@@midwestpeterbiltgroup your operation and setup is awesome and it’s obvious you guys have a good safety program. The incident I mentioned happened about 20 years ago. I worked for a truck dealer but Cummins had the only Dyno around. Seems it was broke down about half the time. I think it was put in around the late 70’s. I think they charged $100.00 per dyno. Times sure have changed and glad I retired from the rat race.

567, 579, and now 589 all are basically same truck..cab is the same with same sleeper options...so pretty much choose the type hood you want stuck on cookie cutter truck and call it something special. Not a fan!!!!

How often you recommend PM Service Oil Change on Peterbilt 2022 model 579
@midwestpeterbiltgroup Жыл бұрын
A good rule of thumb is every 30,000 miles.
@bojanilievski3700 Жыл бұрын
@@midwestpeterbiltgroup thank you very much the company that I work for currently thanks that maybe we can go more than 50,000 miles for the PM service oil change, I told them it might damage the engine, but do you know what other services are required except the p.m. service oil change on the intervals
@midwestpeterbiltgroup Жыл бұрын
@@bojanilievski3700 Service interval recommendations can vary depending on application. We recommend 25k to 30k with a good inspection. By doing this you can reduce risk of breakdown while under load. Great question!
