Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Eddie Gilbert supposed to be part of the original FABS, along with STAN LANE?

@kingliambyrne could have been, good grief : anyone else remember the FANTASTIC ONES: TERRY TAYLOR and BOBBY FULTON? later FULTON shortened it to the FANTASTICS, with TOMMY ROGERS, great team IMO

It makes so much more sense now! This is why their face paint looks the same! I always wondered why nobody talked how Sting and Ultimate Warrior had (nearly) the same face paint design. this looks bad but why was it never brought up? Not even when Warrior went to WCW

I mean he's a Hall of famer and always in the talk when people discuss the greatest managers of all time, but yeah his Memphis run deserves more praises that's for sure. Definitely Top 5 managers ever.

Who else has seen that couch in every other house im the 80s? Bigass brown 2×6 framed structurally sound couch. I still see them from time to time, funky brown cushions are long, but that frame remains strong.

I remember watching this when it first aired. Hated it then, hate it now. I always thought Tommy Rich was the goofiest looking guy I'd ever seen. Still do. But when they tanked, which was either by design or not, almost seemed like it was by design because of how bad it absolutely sucked, the blood fued between Tommy and Eddie was great Memphis style pro wrestling.
