My wife was with me for 23 years she took care of all the Fallen Soldiers she was a nurse that would bring them their final gift before they passed away. My wife got cancer after she got her doctorate degree to take care of the veterans. The doctors lied to her and told her that she had something she didn't have the doctors killed her with the radiation. I listen to the song and I just can't think that within the last 9 months she died after so many years being together but it's true it happened. People out there with cancer don't go after the pasture check out other things please don't go fast please try to check out other types of cures please my wife went fast because she was a doctor and she believed in them. She thought that the colleagues of hers would save her. They only killed her that much faster because he didn't have enough time to take care of her or review the files because the insurance company make sure that they never paid doctors enough therefore doctors can't even find the time to really research what they need to for each patient therefore the force and push these people into these radiation and chemo and other therapies that maybe should be reviewed further or their health should be before they assign them to death with these types of treatments.

Anyone with a brain knows that drugs and alcohol ruined Canned Heat, The Doors, Janis, Jimi and many more. That doesn't diminish their Genius, just their life choices. And it's easier to look back in hindsight and see how bad the drugs were, than it was in Real Time back then...

With the electronic bait Man, his nuclear fission And the fish on his line Is bigger in his mind Than the reality of the reel He has to reel it in You shouldn't-nuf bit fish Last one to get away Is the catch of the day You shouldn't-nuf bit fish You took the bait It's too late to pray Now over you, they say the grace: Lord bless this fish Bring on the chill Before we forget the spell We bit the fish Brother don't be so quail Heads or tails We ate the fish We take the tempting bait And don't matter about who is fishin' Draw attention And then we take the bait We got to carry the weight a long time Carry the weight a long time Carry the weight a long time Yo! As the bait waits With a line attached to his mind And a hook in his behind Who do you suppose will bite? And as the fisherman nodded Are you sleek, are you sly, are you stoned? Or are you fishin' for a song? All these smelly fishy ain't fish Oh! Somebody said "fish it's brain food" Well I'm thinkin' about caviar (when we take the bait) Fish eggs on brain (we got to carry the weight a long time) Have a little sanity (carry the weight a long time) Gonna raid your house Saturday night fish fry The Barracuda are still prime (when we take the bait) Do you suppose he will bite (carry the weight a long time) With the line attached to his mind And a hook in his behind Put up a good fight Gimme line, gimme line Give him time {Keyboard instrumental} Last one that got away Is the catch of the day You shouldn't-nuf bit fish You took the bait It's too late to pray Now over you, they say the grace: Lord bless this fish Lord bless this fish

At the risk of being crucified by Beatles fans who blame her for the demise of one of the most successful bands of all time, I dare to say the original Yoko Ono version of this song is better than the John Lennon remake. My parents bought the album "Double Fantasy" soon after the release in November, 1980. To this day, every time I hear any of the songs in that album, it reminds me of my parents, and how much they loved each other back then, and up to that point. I was 7 years old when John Lennon died a month after the album was released. Both my parents were shocked and saddened by the terrible tragedy. They were both big fans after growing up with the Beatles, and John's death removed all hope of the Beatles ever getting back together. Little did I know it would soon be my turn to experience breakup and loss. The following year, my parents' relationship took a wrong turn. They eventually separated and later divorced. They say music is the closest thing we have to a time machine. I wholeheartedly agree.

to understand this you need to listen to piper at the gates of dawn and then the others. you have to understand what the band was, and what it has undergone. you have to understand that roger was a cool good bassist. you have to understand dave g's relationship with syd. there's a lot of things you have to understand. sorry. but this is probly still a sad lament to mr. syd barrett the leader of pink floyd who was "fired" by not being picked up for concerts in 1969.

I was completely stunned to find this album at a local flea market. I love plenty of Eloy albums, but this is the first vinyl I came across. For just 3 bucks I immediately took it home and gave it a spin. What a random find to brighten up the day!
