That's not even close...I don't drive a high vehicle, but I can only assume that these things happen because they are not concentrating and alert to what looks such an obvious hazard...cocooned in the cab with everything else going on, I'm glad it's not me!

The traffic commissioner has the power to suspend or even remove this guys HGV license. No licence no job.

I believe it was 1992 that it closed, the items were sold and auctioned off. This is a video tape which we converted to digital for a client, this is his filming of the layout.

You are absolutely correct. It is not the original Drifters and it has been edited back in 2011, I believe. It’s not a rip off as you say, it’s a presentation, and was commissioned by the Treadwell family and Sony and PMG music group.

I don’t particularly understand how this happens. I drove double decker buses and the height was displayed in the cab. ALL buses, including single deckers were banned from going down one particular road. Single deckers would have cleared it, but all busses were banned in case a driver forgot he was in a decker. I believe modern satnavs for trucks have an input for the dimensions of your vehicle. How come lorries aren’t fitted with a sensor on the trailer roof that would detect that a bridge was too low and set off an alarm in the cab? Would be pretty cheap and would save a fortune in damaged trailers and bridges, not to mention the disruption such incidents cause?

amateur driver he can see the bridge is too low he should approach the bridge with caution or even stop to check the height sign located above where he sits in the cab I know it because I was a lorry driver me self and i always approach the bridge with cautions I once even asked members of the public if I was clear so guys it’s easy to avoid this scenario just a bit of common sense
