Hi Friends: how to play any sound of a bank, chromatically?
@wintermodular54552 ай бұрын
Hi! You just need to go to FUNC + CV ASSIGN -> Choose CV2 ( in case you want it in the default CV input) an then go to the second 'CV assign' page (with encoder). Then choose 'SLOT SEL CROM' instead of 'SLOT SEL RANGE'

I know this is late but I just got this with my Eloquencer and am sequencing one bank on my SP404mk2 with midi out in two tracks...just switching the notes to match the SP note values...works great. Midi in with my Keystep and midi out to my SP. Love the Eloquencer.

Hi, not sure if i understand the random function properly, particularly the CV input. I thought it would function a bit like the Malekko Varigate 8's random input where the new levels remain as changed, i.e. the random function essentially creates a new sequence. Instead, when I send a CV in, it does randomize the parameters but then when the CV signal is dropped, it returns to the previous state. Am I doing something wrong? Am I even making sense? 😅
@wintermodular54559 ай бұрын
I'm not sure if I understand it. When you talk about the sequence, do you mean the sequencer that controls the ZAPS? The random CV in controls the amount of global randomness applied to specific parameters that have randomness applied. It is not destructive; as soon as the CV goes to zero or you disconnect the cable, the global random amount is the same as what you have in the global Random parameter (last fader). If you think it can help, please send a video link to support.
@modrokka8 ай бұрын
@@wintermodular5455 Ah ok so it's non-destructive, I understand now. Thanks

Hi ! Can I make different speed for different tracks?
@wintermodular545510 ай бұрын
Hi ! the answer is: Restricted to integers. For example. if the clock is 120BPM you can run a track to half the speed (60BPM) (if you set the STEP MODE to DIV/2), or you can run another track at 40BPM (if you set the STEP MODE to DIV/3), up to DIV/16 ( in this example: 7.5 BPM)

Does it have a 303 style note slide?
@wintermodular545510 ай бұрын
Hi Jesse ! It is not possible. The only workaround is to send the CV output to a slew limiter module. If the slew limiter is CV-controlled you can use an additional Eloquencer channel to control the slew amount.

When a module is basically built by community, and by the performer for the performers, it stands the test of time. Honestly, 6 years later, there is no better sequencer module, especially if you add EME expander to it. Absolute gold.

@@wintermodular5455 well deserved! Especially with support you provide and upgrades you did in the last 5 years. I have both Elo and EME. There is nothing in the modular world that can come close with easy, streamlined use and great, controlled randomization. EME adds to it in so many ways, adding to the integration with the rest of the equipment. I am a sequencer-focused for decades, always loved sequencers more than just playing. And especially this one with focus on pattern copy and variation, performance and composition, all for the amazing price! Would be happy to test any further fw should need beta testers.

In this specific case it was connected via cheap 'USB <-> MIDI DIN5 IN & MIDI DIN5 OUT', but you can do it using a DIN5 cable and then connect it between EME and your Audio Interface with MIDI connection.

I have a question about the eloquencer. Can you create swing or off beat gates for hihat and percs while keeping the other outs quantized? I am looking to use it as a drum sequencer :)

You can only apply 'standard' swing (delays the even beats) for all the tracks at once.

If you have gate, note probability & ratchet information already on a track would this "record" over that data?

All track data that overlaps any incoming event is overwritten when recording, if there is no overlap the previous data is not overwritten.

12:55 I know it was something crucial, but I have NO idea what he said. I would fly to Europe to re-do the video with him, asking for clarifications: “Did you say jam?” I already have three Eloquencers. I love them, but am just learning. Most modules, it’s honestly not important to go very deep into the features. This is an exception: every feature has a musical use key to composing. If only he had left timings for subjects or - I don’t know - covered them IN ORDER?

Is it possible to program a gate track and cv track at the same time to run a drum pattern on gate track 1 and a melodic cv pattern on cv track 1 and if so how would this work? I can do one but not both on one track.
@wintermodular54552 жыл бұрын
You can 'de-attach' CV from GATE, go to FUNC + OPTIONS (hold) > 'CV GATE link' and press the track A button. If the buttons is off, it means that the CV will change on every step, no matter if there is a GATE or not

Hi. I would like to know why i don\'t have the master track option you showed in this video? Also i don't have a menu item in the mod option. Do i have to update to to 1.3.8 firmware even if i have the first batch EME? Actually i have installed 1.3.5 All The Best Alex
@wintermodular54553 жыл бұрын
Hi Alex ! Sorry for the delay, I missed the message. This video was made with the first beta version of Eloquencer. I didn't have no front planel yet! :) The master track option can be found in the CLOCK section ( FUNC + CLOCK ) You can also choose which tracks are following the master track in the OPTIONS section ( FUNC + OPTIONS (hold) ) 1.3.5 is ok for the MIDI expansion, but we recommend the last official version 1.3.8 (it have more features. There is a beta version 1.3.9 that has more features. The MOD section will be probably updated in the next firmware update.
