I got that book for Christmas allong with a dozen 110 conibear in 1974 when I started catching muskrat mink and fox. That was back before coyotes. and Beaver were scarce and protected. That was Michigan in 74.

Ever use ground up corn cob as a base to add a bit of body to the lure? Saw that in an old article online somewhere one time.

Are you still trapping and making lures?

Don't underestimate the holding power of a good #1.5 coil spring. I have caught and held coyote, bobcat and otter in Duke #1.5s. My go to trap for fox and coon. My main trap for otter is the #280 in crossover, channel and bottom edge sets.

Thanks for the information on prior videos. We have what appears to be a mink wreaking havoc on our chicken coop. Thought at first a weasel but after a deer cam caught him outside the coop it looks like a mink.

Is the stake and the chain buried directly beneath the traps? Or buried slightly off to the side

Good tips , you can use 220 also if you can not use 330 like here . I caught them in smaller streams then that and less water from one pond to another water way .
