Such a shame they discontinued their flights to Frankfurt

`First time I ever flew was ( in 1985, when I was 21 ) from London to Rome. There was a Boeing 747:400 JJ really close to the satelite our plane was departing from and I wanted to get aboard that Queen so much. A few years later I flew from London to New York, JFK. I felt sure it would be my first time on the Jumbo Jet, but no ! It was on a DC 10. Third time lucky : From London to Mexico City. By which time I`d become almost paralyzed in the fear of flying. I don`t know - in between - what type of aircraft I`ve been on hither and thither. But I know that I`ve been on board a Boeing 747. Ps, a piece of trivia : As my girlfriend and I ( it was her very first flight ) sat on the Jumbo ready to go to Mexico City, I saw the winglets standing at the end of the wing of the aircraft. If I were to guess I`d have given it a height - from the mainwing surface - of about 3 to 4 feet - at most. They are 7ft high. So even when you`re on a Jumbo it`s difficult to realise just how large these machines are.

The last time I flew with the jumbo was in 2019 when I flew on one from Manchester to Orlando

Sadly the jumbos are now retired from flying with any budget airliners But cargo planes are still flying with the jumbos

I was on the 757 to Barcelona a few weeks ago and it’s sad as it is the last time I might ever fly this overpowered rocket love this airplane and will forever be my favourite airplane

Amazing quality video

Just the buzz of coming in on the approach to Palma , flying over Barcelona (nearly there). Holiday to begin! I flew with Condor , from Frankfurt to Palma (10 day holiday) then back with jet2 back into Leeds Bradford. Good taxiway at Palma , usually, Inward to stand and outward journey - runways :)

Can’t beat this machine, one of the best airplanes in history in my opinion. I’ve flown on both engine types, the Rolls Royce RB211’s always pushed more. 43,700 lbs of thrust…nuff said haha. Awesome video!

I live in Australia as far as I’m aware we don’t have a single 757 down here that would one thing to do on my list!

Saw three of these 757-200's all next to each other last Tuesday morning 2nd July, when I returned from Rhodes with Jet2, on LS820..... Certainly been going a good few years these Birds of the Sky..👍

The B757-200 is a beast - I flew on a United 757-300 with PW-2000 engines from SFO to Kennedy. That was a real treat. Nice video.

A soon to be a lost experience as the 757 is being phased out :( For a fan of aviation, there is no finer experience than a a pair of RB211s strapped to the wings of a 757 running full chat as the thrust pushes you into the back of the seat, hurtling down a runway. The 757 was and always will be my favourite airliner. I'll take one of them over the clinical, characterless A320s any day, any time. Thank you for this upload. I enjoyed it with wistful nostalgia.

I went to Europe in June with some family, and we flew Lufthansa and arrived in Munich. It was an amazing trip! A trip of a lifetime!
