Saw the new line up on 12/19…they were solid but the whole thing is sad. It’s a classic power struggle within a band where Chris wants to be the leader and Norwood was forced to be the leader while Angelo plays them off each other to tries and get what he wants. I totally understand why Norwood was sick of it and I understand why Chris wants to do what he wants, but its kind of a sad end to the whole band for it to turn into a legal battle, which Norwood probably should win. If you kick the guy out of the band, who owns the name, then he’s going to sue you for the name… And you’re going to have to pay or give up the name.

Damon does his best but if the audiende doesn't react to the music, maybe it isn't best to ask the to participate becuase that just causes more embarrassment. It calls attention to the lack of excitement in the audience. One problem is that the audience is on the younger side so they probably haven't heard many of Blur's songs. Damon sounds a little tired and a little drunk. His words are a little slurred too. The band still did their best. Having said the audience is not too bad either. I mean, it looks like they are trying to get into it.

Crazy to think that NOFX and the Vandals are done touring. The Vandals will pop up on a fest stage or in LA/LB/OC or somewhere close to home very sporadically but that is becoming far less with no more extended runs. End of an Era I Loved being part of. Dave, Joey, Warren, Josh, Mike, Eric, Eric and Aaron thank you so much for 40 years of awesome music and 30 years of fucking crazy good shows. My life would be so much different without the times spent....

It's sad to see a crowd at a punk show these days. Just standing around with phones out. I miss the good old days when you go to a NOFX show and the whole place was a mosh pit. And I'm not talking about these pussy pits they have today where everyone is just going around in a circle holding hands and skipping.
