This time I cheated a little - my JRPG nonsense this time is from the MMO! If you never checked out the FF14 soundtracks you are in for a treat - they are a worthy successor to the JRPG tunes of the 90s I grew up with! The arrangement is actually pretty close to the original so it certainly went places as you heard 😄 I also definitely don't have the same skill and flexibility on a sopranino recorder as my sister does on picc but having it double the high piano and later the melody added some ✨sparkle✨ that I really liked having in there. Ostil is such a great piano player (and a big FF14 fan like myself!) so I knew he'd be the guy to help me bring this track to life!

I don't think I've done 2 clarinets and piano before so it was rad to do! it really suits the piece I agree! (if only I could have figured out pet footage 😂)
