Apparently the crunchy Reesecups didn’t catch on; I was in college in the mid-'80s, was therefore familiar with vending machine fare, and I don’t remember crunchy Reese's cups. These days, I'm a fan of the Reese's seasonal hapes; I LOOVE the trees and the hearts, and I hear that the eggs are All That, so I may have to try them. 😋

I don't remember the commercial, but I sure wish I remembered seeing this. Not sure I'll ever get to see a production of any Rodgers & Hart. I have not seen this commercial since 1986 when I was a child. I’ve thought about this commercial many times over the years since then. I tried looking for it before KZbin, but I guess I overlooked it. I just tried another search and I found it after checking through a lineup of commercials from the department store that appeared on my search. I would sing the song “treat me right” over the years. And I would think back to the commercial with his mother and this little girl. As a child, I always thought this little girl was cute. Lol.
