Looks like (if DAD tuning) playing D, E, F# into G (barre chords on 0 2 4 5 frets).

Interesting. How does the shape of the neck affect playing? It looks rather rectangular-ish. Sounds cool though. Try it with a single coil. 🎶

Thanks for the video. Just finding this in April of 2024. I am looking at upgrading my CBG to start playing more regularly. I had one made about a year ago, it is a license plate guitar body, looks great, but the action is off. I even had the guy who built it take a look, but after he changed out one of the strings, it still isn't playing right.

Damn that sucks, I don't understand why the maker can't fix it. I've made about 20 license plate guitars never a problem. Never had a guitar I've made or otherwise that I couldn't fix. Sorry about your predicament friend.
