Not sure if you still read your comments, but man, I miss your videos! Comic videos have gone to shit with everyone focusing on getting views and making money and thinking THEY are the star instead of the comics. I learned about so many indy comics from you, and spent thousands on those comics... which I still have and love in my collection. Hope you're doing well!

Never sell your comics for any amount of money cause in 20 years you will be filthy rich cause those are some major key books and your Cerebus#1 is a hard book to find and I am still on the hunt for my grails a AMS#129,TMNT#1, Hulk#181,Cerebus#1, X-Men#1 and Amazing Fantasy #15,I just need about 20K lol.

9 years later and there still is no definitive answer but from what I have seen there are quite a few more white versions. I have heard 50/50, 75/25 and 90/10. 25% black mature readers seems about right but again, no one knows for sure. From what I have seen there is no way it's 50/50.

Just going by what comes up for sale across the internet the white label seems to show up more often than the black. What is a fact is that they’re both first prints. Another example of a color change is TMNT #3. The first 500 off the press had less blue shading. Eastman and Laird didn’t like the look and added the additional shading for the rest of the run. Both versions are considered first prints. The first 500 are labeled as “variants” by collectors and all grading companies. Calling the white label a second print is ridiculous. I own both the white and the black label in 9.8. In my opinion it’s worth owning either or in any condition. Great video!

Hi, nice video. I have 2 of the sonic the hedge hog newsprint promos and i heard they got for the same value but wasn't too sure about that lol...do you happen to have any idea if they are worth the same? Or just as rare? Thanks...A updated 2020 video would be dope btw :)

First off I like your Icon, "Death Dealer" I've been a Frazetta collector since the mid '70's. I've been using Mylar bags pretty much since they came out back in the early to mid '80's. I put all my more valuable comics in Mylar and the rest of my collection both comics & magazines in My-lites when they came out in the '90's. I will have to get the Micro Paper. Great tip. Its a shame your not purring up anymore videos, I know that life hits hard sometimes. But about four years ago, your vids sparked my interest again in collecting. I now four years later have a collection that is close to rivaling yours at your last video. Thanks again for that. I hope you start posting again someday. P.S. my wife hates you. lol

Comicfan79 texas I appreciate that. I gave up collecting Comics for now. By the time I was finished I wasn’t satisfied with getting a book under $500 😆 The addiction was never enough. The unbelievable excitement of getting and opening the new book. Look at it for a bit. Then put it in a box and search for another one. I’m mostly into Video Games and Tech now. It’s a lot of fun. I had to get rid of a lot of stuff and I gave up my Comic room because I needed the space. I thought I’d never get rid of the books I did but this stuff is all just temporary. You can’t take it with you when you go. I still have a bunch of boxes but nothing like I used to have. I bet I got some stuff that’s hot right now that I don’t even know about. I haven’t been keeping up. No regrets here and I think about making a comeback but it’s going to be expensive 😆
