I'm a Californian. I was on high dose Opioid and Diazipam successfully for 28 years. I was forced off both during lockdown. My chart was flagged by Medicare when my primary gave me cough syrup for bronchitis. I now have medical PTSD and won't see an MD for any reason. My primary told me, "Even if you can't breathe. I can't give you Opioids." I've stopped all cancer screening. Why get screening if I can't have surgery? I have Adhesive Arachnoiditis, 4 back surgeries and many traumatic fractures without ANY meds. Since I’ve become an accidental pain activist in 2018. I’ve seen so much unnecessary suffering in California from patient forced taper off a stable dose of Rx pain medications. The longer we allow the DEA to practice medicine and allow them to decide what doctors can prescribe for their patients we will continue to have suffering, disability and death.

Perhaps if the medical board listened to the patients and shifted your practices to addressing our, the patients’, needs rather than the “needs” of those looking over your shoulders, then you wouldn’t have to be “literally constantly” interviewing for help from people who actually do just want to help people instead of just helping our government perpetuate their own lies.

The board is causing Dire harm to patients making Dr.s "Force Taper" patients to 90mg MME under "Stipulated Orders" stating that anything over 90 mg MME is considered to be "Dangerous". My god.
