So these are the samples Mr Cixx is scratching: 1. 1:19 - Tim Dom Dom - Jorge Ben Jor 2. 3:44 - The Boy From Ipanema - Sarah Vaughan 3. 5:38 - i'd be surprised if you didn't know this sample

Sick Demo! I have one of these and still use it all the time. Been my favorite tool for many many years (10+?), still works like new and built like a tank! Hard to find now but I'd probably replace it if I had to. I bring it to shows when I can conveniently as I know the "Industry Standard" will be whats there.... F#ck Pioneer! Cheap plastic Price-gaugers!

The headphones volume control doesn't mute the volume properly - you can still hear a crackly low level of audio with the volume fully down.

And when I put a jack plug lead into a channel, the peak led flashes rapidly for no apparent reason. Okay, Allen and Heath, why shouldn't I tell every audio person I meet that your product in my experience is dire?

Oh, yes I nearly forgot - the usb connection to a computer is rubbish - I cannot use it with Garageband - cannot monitor previous tracks. Deeply unintuitive all round. Don't buy this if you want to record home demos with Garageband.

@@skipper6528 multiple intermittent faults developed in spite of me taking real care of the desk. XLR lines going dead or sounding too dull, crackly pots, channel 1 had many small but infuriating weird idiosyncrasies... can't even remember them all. In contrast, my Phonic BKX8800 mixing desk, a £80 bog standard mixer from 1990 works like a dream.

Busted channel 1, noisy switches, channel 2 crackling, too complex, sliders too loose. What's to like?

Good sound! Def not live to this video. Your movements don't match up to tone. Good work! Behind the scenes is another story! I understand

Tony I had the same problem and spent good money replacing all my cables to top of the line ones and found that my noise would not go away as well...all along it was the unbalenced channel in the back of my monitors causing all that noise, once I plugged it to it's XLR port my sound bacame rich and clear, try changing the way your monitor is plugged up and see if that will help you.

Tony, First thing I would start with is muting all of the inputs to help determine if it is coming from the mixer or from one of your inputs. Then being the master down and plug headphones into the mixer to see if you are hearing the radio broadcast through the headphones or just your monitor speakers. Start with these steps to determine if it is an issue with the mixer, a cable or your speakers. If it proves to be the mixer, you can try using a ground lift adapter on the AC plug.

So when you are connected via USB to your computer, do you have control over each separate channel? Or can you only record the main mix, I wasn't really sure. Thanks and God Bless
