Maybe I'm a bitch but I hate ppl who sugarcoat the world like this. Telling kids predatory animals aren't a threat and just saying "hi" will srsly warp their perspective. Yeah they're in a zoo, but children need to know not all animals are friendly for their own benefit. The child had the right response, but the adults laughing around him will confuse him that perhaps the bear didn't actually mean harm
