@@Us_On_Tour yeah, I would of walked too 😂 we got lucky but they did squeeze 5 people and luggage into a Renault Zoe! We stayed in the same hotel but we were in the main building upstairs. We didn't get in the restaurant either 😂

Interesting hearing your experience. The mrs & I took our two bikes into France last year in the back of my Transit Custom. We did the overnight ferry Portsmouth to Caan. We just had the passports stamped, exiting Caan port. Customs checked in the back of the van returning to England but were only really interested if we had any stowaways. We made a video of the journey on our channel. I do think there's a big difference between transporting bikes registered to you on UK plates that are road legal for France and transporting a track bike. I'll admit we were still a little nervous At least all the money saved leaving the European Union has helped fix the UK's roads 😂

We had no problem bringing it black into the UK, they done the same, looked in the back saw the bike, admired and then let us go without asking for any paperwork. Again, just interested in stowaways we think.

It was more towards the Europeans in general as we’re not overly familiar or comfortable tipping. It’s not in our nature to tip 15,20,25%. The odd £5 or £10 after a meal yes but not at the standards American workers are used too
