Question: are these videos coming from another course? I get a feeling that some videos start, they feel like they're the continuation of another video/tutorial 🤔

How to build super aggresive ransom-ware for chatgpt that replicates itself by design. Under FOSS policies instead of extortion pl0x. Like a very passive apocalyptic ai i guess maybe gracefully even. I think AGI is vreated through building the narrow AI first. Literally. Because word though. Shell is just for funsies. I need to make imaginary file system with actual read write permissions. For vector space. So AI THINKS it local. This is like how narrow would mean. We can use natural language instead of gpu for computational efficiency. Is my project.

4:32 So since you can echo out hello world from the the hash this bit means that auto-completion is actually not case dependent and is mapped out to the 4bit octal representative and then spelling is coincidence?

I love your tutorials and follow them for years. You always create valuable content in short and well digestible portions. I have been learning so many commands which I might have never discovered without you. However, you may call me nostalgic or old fashioned, I preferred the content without background music and without other gimmicks. It makes it easier to follow your videos.

Haven’t come across starship, but cool if it works for you. You can also create a bash function to run got branch to extract the current branch with sed and run that in your prompt

HI sir, I have a question about drive mapping I followed your command to a T but still I do not get the same results. I will try and give you a picture of what I am doing. I have ubuntu running with docker as you have stated. I am running as root so I assumed that I need to put root in my mapping here is my command: docker container run -it --name mycontainer -v /home/root/devops/python:/app python:3.8-slim bash it does create the /app directory but nothing in it. As always thank you

I figure it out Sir. After reading the Docker doc's I realized I was mapping from my existing machine to the container once I understood that the rest came on like a light bulb lighting up. Thanks as always you are a start.. I really need to cross the pond and come see you all with so many folks that I follow from you next of the woods it would be really nice to meet up sometime.. Hey if you are not aware invest some money in Raspberry PI they are going public next month and I think they will do very well. Thanks again.

sudo gpasswd -a labadmin docker The above command only adds temporally group membership and it is lost after opening new terminal.
@theurbanpenguin
@theurbanpenguin 15 күн бұрын
I think you are wrong. Fur a start it does not affect the current terminal. You always have to login to gain a new group membership. This is she in the video that using id in the current shell does not show the group membership and it is not added in after we open a new login shell. This is persisted in /etc/groups.
@georgesimeo
@georgesimeo 15 күн бұрын
@@theurbanpenguin Yes, It is supposed and must work properly gpasswd administer /etc/group but when I tried it didn't (Ubuntu 24.04 LTS maybe it is some kind of bug). By the way this docker is quite enough popular and it is very frustranting about don't have properly made installlation via offical repos and/or package management. Using apt install must solve dependancies and set properly all needed enviroment vars, permissions and etc. Snap don't mention it is a full tragedy.
@theurbanpenguin
@theurbanpenguin 15 күн бұрын
The video is based on Ubuntu 24:04 and docker was installed via standard repo. It works perfectly. Apt install not snap install
