I had a paper route in HS, and we had to sell some kinda good chocolates to go on our marching band trip. I didn't sell the most, but I sold them for $.25 more than what they were supposed to be. So when I went collecting for my paper route, I knew who wanted receipts and who didn't and I was able to eat like 1 of 5 sales. :P I did make my sales requirements and never got busted. I don't remember the kind of chocolate, but it was milk, and I think it was blueberry, just barely blueberry and they were so good. Thanks for the taste test! I found you guys via your mayo/miracle whip taste test. I wanted to see if other people couldn't really tell either... :P

The ones I sold were "Worlds Finest Chocolates" they had a plain milk chocolate, almond, caramel, and crips like a crunch bar. Every once in a while someone would just give me a dollar and not want a bar. I at more than my fair share of those bars.

Okay so you bought a wal-mart maple syrup and expected quality?? Would you expect their butcher shop to offer special cuts like french trimmed lamb chops? Try a genuine, not so sourced out maple syrup. There are tons of producers here in the Northeast who will far exceed any quality you're getting from walmart and without cost adding gimmicks. Cheers!

That looks delicious! Here's a few suggestions: (1) try using puff pastry sheet instead of croissant dough. (2) put floured parchment paper on your work surface so the dough doesn't stick. (3) slide a length of string/twine/UNFLAVORED dental floss/unused fishing string around the roll, cross the ends and pull in opposite directions. The string will slice the food but not your pastry mat. (4) just before you finish the roll, dab your fingertip in water and lightly moisten the edge of your dough to help seal the outer edge to the main part. (5) crumbled bacon! On it or in it. (6) mix 1/3 cup Hellmann's mayo with 1/3 cup softened cream cheese, stir in your favorite Dan-Os seasoning mix and optional hand-grated parmesan cheese. Spread on the puff pastry before the ground beef. (7) fresh ground pepper sprinkled on top. Sorry for the wall of text and for the ideas being out of order. I love experimenting with recipes and get kinda wordy when I brainstorm 😅

@@BrotherNotBrother lol pretend my ideas are a new recipe. Seriously though, I have an easy recipe for you to try. These are called chicken wrap-ups and they are crazy good. Chicken Wrap-ups***** boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded to an even thickness* sliced bacon - 2-3 slices per breast, slightly pre-cooked**** link smoked sausage sliced into quarters lengthwise in 4-6 inch lengths. usually 1 lb will stuff 6 - 8 large breasts grated *real* Parmesan cheese dijon or spicy brown mustard garlic powder** black pepper** white cooking wine or chicken broth deep glass baking dish (this recipe creates a fabulous chicken stock that you can reserve and freeze for use in other recipes) toothpicks waxed paper Preheat oven to 350℉. Lay out a large sheet of waxed or parchment paper 'cause this is gonna get messy. Spread out chicken breasts skin side down. Where the bone was, put generous amounts of mustard, cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper and finally 2-3 sausage quarters. Fold the breast around all of that then take your bacon and start wrapping it around the breast, securing it with toothpicks. Place each bundle in the baking dish skin side up. When you have as many as you intend to cook, pour wine over it till it's about 1/4 inch deep (give or take) in liquid. Bake uncovered for 50 minutes.*** Serve immediately. You can spoon the broth over rice or mashed potatoes or you can reserve it as stock. The stock freezes well. You can also let the wrapups get cold and slice them. Makes a great club sandwich with ingredients such as: baby spinach, fresh tomatoes, hamburger dill slices, your favorite cheese, avocado/guacamole, onions, bell pepper (try yellow bell pepper!), jalapeno...whatever toppings you like. Use the leftover broth as base for soups, gumbos, boiling rice, making mashed potatoes, add to egg drop soup, etc. *The original recipe called for b/s thighs but breasts give lighter flavor and much larger portions. **Use your favorite seasonings. ***Or you can cook on high in microwave for about 15 minutes then place under the broiler for 13 minutes to brown. ****If you're using thick sliced bacon, line a cookie sheet with foil and pre-cook your bacon in 375℉ - 400℉ oven for about 5 - 10 minutes or until it just begins to release grease. This helps it brown and crisp on top. For texture-sensitive people (or you're simply short on supplies) just slice the bacon in halves and drape it over the top of the breast bundle. *****Keto/carnivore option: use the first 4 ingredients and use chicken bone broth.
