Is there a way to get telemetry for the ffb output to see clipping? There was a mod for rfactor called realfeel. Using a telemetry plugin you could measure the maximum spikes of torque of ffb and then input that value ingame as the maximum force of ffb output in the realfeel plugin therefore you would get no ffb clipping in normal driving, maybe only in extreme circumstances like a crash or hitting a huge pothole.

lol I love finishing (or even winning) events with an unfixed puncture, it's happened to me several times - with four wheel drive vehicles being particularly good at soldiering on with a missing tyre. It's definitely needed if you want to meet the sponsor target of not having a certain amount of penalty time, since stopping to fix the tyre will definitely exceed that target. Good job!

If you have a fanatec wheel you just put your wheel sense to Auto, This will then match what steering the game gives you.

Thrustmaster was a pain, wouldn’t let you do it but now RSF has soft lock feature so don’t have to bother with this method anymore

Yeah it’s nice isn’t it, I’ve only managed a few runs through each stage so far over the holidays, was hoping for more rig time but the odd hour here and there throughout the week is the best I can get at the minute. There’s a mega looking Ireland rally starting this week though so hoping I can turn up for that at least.

No, using a wheel, Thrustmaster T818. There are keyboard players out there though, god knows how they do it 😂

@@kevedwards yeah, I play mostly with keyboard, but it's pretty hard to race middle engined cars that way. They are more sensible to weight transfer by braking, throttling. By the way, it's posible to tame the beasts with a few setup tweaks 😂

@@matiasdun6599 that’s probably more down to my cheap pedals, the accelerator has a really light with a short throw so it’s quite hard to modulate. Hopefully won’t be long now till I upgrade them.

@SleepyPantsSimRacing More than likely yeah, reshade can be demanding on FPS and not really worth it IMO, it ruins the natural look from the stages and makes it look like your playing through an Instagram filter.

It is, doesn’t seem to get used much as I think most people drive the Subaru in that class but I love it, just reminds of 90’s British rallying. Plus I had that model escort (not the cosworth) way back until I crashed it into a lamppost 🤣

So far I think it’s great, I’ve just finished a long rally leg, about 3hrs solid rallying and it held up perfectly. I’ll do a first impressions video after about a week.
