Fairly decent. Went 16-20 and got 5th in regionals so did not go to state.

Maybe in Greco or Freestyle (two different rulesets of wrestling) but not in this style (folkstyle)

We call that move "saitiev" in germany, after the famous wrestler buvaisa (or something like that) saitiev... i love that

Why cant you slam him? I know u shouldn’t slam on the head or neck but why not slam on his back or body?
@LoganxRiga4 күн бұрын
Depends on how you do it. Usually you have to let your knees drop first and it can’t be intentional to hurt him or you could get DQed or penalized. Just part of the rules for Folkstyle.

horrible lifting technique, I’m not hating don’t be like me 10 years out of wrestling and have a bulging disk because of crap shots and picking guys up for the finish. Need to take better shots , once your in keep your head no matter the position into him, back straight and then learn to drive with your feet. If you drive you can run them down or still lift but it’s better on your back and puts them off balance making your take downs more effective .
@sanchobo5 күн бұрын
also if your going to do that single leg lift your elbow needs to be deep in and higher on the crotch. When you lift you need to explode from your hips almost like a hump yes a hump and catch them on the redrop. Keep working at it but at higher levels this won’t work.
@LoganxRiga5 күн бұрын
Ok. The lift was purely instinct but I get what you’re saying.

Once you sprain your ankle it’s vulnerable to happen again. Look up workouts to strengthen your ankles to prevent further injuries
