Is this normal? We're going in 28/12 for a week and trying to decide if it's worth it

Yup, pretty normal JRT behavior. Worry about them,if they don't do this. I expected more growling. Maybe the puppies don't growl as much as adults.

Bien bonne idée en ces temps de changement climatique, vus le peu de neige dans les Alpes du sud, aucune utilisation de remontées mécanique, un grand bravo, et merci pour le partage ça vas en inspirés beaucoup.

How does futureshock affect your confidence descending? Does it make it any safer riding over potholes or is that above it's pay grade?

"Pointless" my ass. All they really need to do is build a chairlift that connects the 2 lifts or extend the Cote Chevalier chairlift to the top station of Pontillas, therefore turning the current bottom station into a turn-around station and removing the "pointlessness" of Pontillas. At least Pontillas isn't damaging the environment at all unlike how it's planned replacement has done. The destruction it's replacement has cause and what destruction it will cause if it isn't stopped is unacceptable. Modernist bastards who want everything to be plastic city-like digitalized shit have no life. They can't appreciate the interesting things in life such as old ski lifts(or ropeways as that's what they really are called). All they want is for everything to be done instantly for them, lazy bastards they are... they'll only further damage the environment with their efficient shit which will deforest more trees which will end up INCREASING carbon dioxide emission and the scenario will pretty much turn inti Wall-E if those modernist bastards don't get a fucking grip of themselves and realise that they need to consider enthusiasts of ropeways before demanding that they be destroyed. Serre Chevalier has 4 wonderful vintage gondola lifts and it would be absolutely NOT ON to destroy any of the 4 of them... 1 modern gondola lift in the Chantemerle sector is completely enough. We don't need any more un-interesting maintenance-intensive un-environmental un-traditinal corporatized shitty modern ropeways, thank you all very much. #ForeverFrejus #PreserveOurPontillas #PreserveOurQueenFrejus

"an out of control cock was skiing back UPHILL"????? Sounds like a skier going downhill either does not have the ability to avoid people/obstacles downhill from him...or was going faster than his abilities would allow him to avoid obstacles....moving or stationary ........I'm just sick of these videos that try to blame a collision on the skier being overtaken/below the skier with the gopro camera......they are ALWAYS in the wrong.....maybe they will have to stand in front of a judge to finally be convinced of this

He is using synthetic climbing skins that attach to the bottom of the ski. You can climb like a mountain goat. Cross country skis are for the flat lands.

I did wonder about broken line? as I've never broken a line in 20 years, second i always wear gloves, the cheap rubbery work mans gloves will save your hands, I've been dragged by my foot in water unable to reach down to cut line, its a frighting experience, hope this hasn't put you off, be safe out there, robin
@6whiteshadows Жыл бұрын
Dude, you don't need to wear gloves. I rarely wear gloves and I have more than 100 sessions a year. Don't be afraid, if you get tension in the lines while doing things like this, you are doing it wrong.
