El año 2024 fue un periodo trascendental para el Taekwon-Do tradicional de la ITF. En particular, 2024 marcó el 22º aniversario del fallecimiento del presidente Choi Hong Hi, cuyo legado y el patrimonio de Taekwon-Do que nos dejó siguen siendo inmensos, influyentes y profundamente inspiradores. Además, 2024 destacó por los importantes avances logrados en el Taekwon-Do ITF, gracias a numerosos campeonatos, entre ellos el Campeonato Mundial celebrado en Uzbekistán, así como competiciones en Europa y Asia. Quiero expresar mi más sincero agradecimiento a los pioneros del ITF, maestros, instructores y practicantes que dedicaron su esfuerzo y compromiso para lograr estos éxitos. En 2025, conmemorando el 70º aniversario de la creación del Taekwon-Do, nuestra federación celebrará este significativo hito reafirmando su compromiso con el legado del presidente Choi Hong Hi, para seguir creciendo y avanzando hacia un futuro aún más prometedor. Estoy seguro de que, como en años anteriores, continuaremos construyendo caminos de desarrollo y éxito en la historia del Taekwon-Do. Espero con entusiasmo que nos encontremos en el 23º Campeonato Mundial de Taekwon-Do ITF, que se llevará a cabo en Jesolo, Italia, en 2025. Incredible very incredible indeed not have bad I kind of like ITF taekwondo but I'm still fondant with ATA taekwondo I'll take both if I have to this is really incredible I just wish I should have stayed in my original karate class so I can put them strong and more better and more powerful than ever 🥋🇰🇷💪😉👍🇰🇷🥋

I have no idea what this video was saying but the training and also the drills that these guys are doing on this video is incredible and unique very unique indeed it may be hardcore but taekwondo has its traits just like karate like any martial art it makes you stronger more flexible and more more powerful they never that way you have the courage and the strength to go up against someone stronger and bigger than you depending on the right move I just wish I could have done better and do it the right way to 🥋🇰🇷💪😉👍🇰🇷🥋

The birthplace of Taekwon-Do is actually Jeju Island where Gen. Choi (who had been instrumental in helping to set up the south Korean government, advocating at the time for democratic national control and against communism) led the 29th Infantry division, teaching martial arts with GM Nam Tae Hi and Han Cha Kyo. Of course, Taekwon-Do would not be named until a few years later, but it's important to remember that all these events happened in South Korea. The bold decision to take Taekwon-Do to North Korea in the early 1980's was, on the one hand, to help save the ITF, but on the other hand, it was ultimately for the eventual unification of Korea. Everyone must remember these points.
