Hello, guys! Demi ,I really love your video! You travel a lot around the world, and I haven't seen a video from you yet about how to fly with perfumes to the United States from another country. I thought it would be advisable for the perfume to be in its original box, as it also preserves better on a daily basis... I would love for you to discuss this topic as well, especially for those who travel and like to use several perfumes in a week-this kind of video would be useful! Thank you!

Hello Demi, I hope you get to this comment I have been watching your perfume channel for a while now and just now I came across this vlog. I just wanted to say it made me feel so much better. I am 32 and I had never dealt with any mental health issues before however 2 months ago I started dealing with anxiety which led to also feeling depressed. I’ve already been a cheerful person and now dealing with this it feels so odd to me and I had been feeling down because I can’t shake that emotionally numb feeling and I hate feeling this way but watching your video gave a lot of conform, I know it might sound weird but like a reminder that I am alone in this. I hope you consider making more vlogs about these subjects like I was wondering since you have dealt with these issues for years, how do shake it off?? How do you get back to feeling like yourself again and shake off the numbness?

That was amazing. You could have been the speaker at an AA meeting on Step 1. Alcoholism is the only disease that requires self diagnosis. The obsession to drink does leave. I’ve been sober 16 years. We learn that alcohol was never our problem. Our problem is that it was the solution. When we abstain from alcohol we are still left with the -ism. The -ism is our past traumas. You will sort that at too and be made whole. I’m so very proud of you.

It's ridiculous to feel shame for being addicted to an addictive substance. That's the thing about alcohol if you can avoid do so. There are no actual benefits to it. BTW there is nothing wrong with being socially awkward. Most people understand we are all in this world together

If I’m honest, I love this channel. I’ve watched the main channel a lot just discovered this. I respect you so much, you are within a week of my oldest daughter’s bday. You inspire me and you’re so straight up and ethical. It’s amazing to see ya on a channel where it’s possibly for you to talk about more than perfume 🤍

I was so surprised to learn these things about you. You are so accomplished for someone in her 20s. As I push 40 and struggle with my own independent hustle, the thing you’ve built has elicited a lot of awe and a little bit of envy. This is a reminder that we all can have struggles and pain off stage. Good on you for going sober. From loved ones who have done the same, it seems that usually there is no moderation for those who are susceptible to alcoholism - one has to go completely and persistently dry. I don’t completely understand it, as I’ve always been a moderate and self-limiting drinker - but that’s the account I’ve heard and witnessed many times now. Proud of you, Demi - keep on healing and growing. You’re amazing.

Amazingly raw honesty, that’s where it starts. I was sober for 11.5 years & I relapsed. I have been struggling ever since because everyone drinks, but not like me. Those 11.5 years were the best time of my life. I can totally relate to what you are going through. I have purchased many fragrances over the years watching your vids. To here that an intelligent & beautiful woman still struggles, wow, I had no idea! You are not alone. I am inspired by your story & you helped me, hearing it. I cried. I feel I had an spiritual awakening for myself. Thank you for your honesty…. Truly mind blowing! Keep on your path, I hope to join you!😘🙏🏽💕

Define, sober? What does ‘drinking’ mean. A little alcohol here and there? No big deal. Alcohol is a liver toxin. Binge drinking is the big one! Wow…blacking out! For me, I’d have one beer no biggie, but hard alcohol is worse. I’d have a rum and coke, then another, and then another in 2020 to 2021.

Hi, I know how alcohol works, because I was an alcoholic from when i was about 15 for about 20 years.. I have sobered up 8 years ago. I do not want to overwhelm with my opinion. The life may be a bit less bright then it was in my early alcoholic years, but much-much brighter then in my last alcoholic years. I do not know when I lost the control of my life, and it does not matter, this was the way to happen. The message is it worth to stay sober, you are awaken, you can do it and it is gonna be good. If you start to struggle we are always here to help, at AA. One day at a time!

I will say that i know folks that after 30 year's of being dry, went back andnits was equally as bad as where they left off so for those that found rhey had a problem, they said that years dont improve things, its almost as if no time had passed if that makes sense. Also, your memory of events will be bettwr without booze. Just look into its effects for your mental health too ,its known to increase anxiety

It's sad that alcohol is thr utmost socially acceptable drug available and it's not commonly known how bad it is for thr body, it's a huge carcinogen, the weekly allotted limits have been debunked by science, no alcohol is the right amount because even 1 or 2 are contributing to cell degradation.. I can't name the studies , and in treatment for addiction, I have seen the effects it has on people who have become dependent on it, its the only drug who's withdrawal can be fatal. That says a lot. Good for you

Thank you so much Demi for sharing this personal issue... I really enjoy your contents altogether! I've never been a huge alcohol consumer (although I've had more than a few "peaks" ), but getting rid of drinks since three years ago definitely improved my life! I agree with the fact that an alcohol free routine makes you share your time with people in a different way.

Demi, I admire your courage and transparency in being so open about this. What you are describing is called alcoholism. Demi, you’re intelligent, beautiful and articulate. You do not need alcohol. I’ve been sober for over 15 years and what has helped me is the practice of taking my sobriety ‘one day at a time’. ie. I’m just gonna stay sober for today. Each ‘today’ has now turned into many years and I believe I am still alive because it. My little sister, like your father, is not. Demi, I assert we drink to cope with anxieties, escape past traumas and often genetics are at play. Demi, you are a strong woman who can do this. Most quit drinking when they have hit rock bottom. Look at all you have accomplished !! You have the opportunity to quit now before you have lost everything……..all your fragrances, Pierre, professional reputation, friends etc… Demi, you can do this. Often we benefit (myself included) from professional counseling and medically supervised medications. You are very bright and brave to recognize this now about yourself. Take advantage of this introspection / wonderful gift. ❤🙏🏼👍🏻

I used to drink every weekend and go wild! I was also addicted to cigarettes 🚬 but all of the sudden I decided I wanted to stop smoking… and I never touched a cigarette after that day.. now it’s 1 year ago! And when it comes to alcohol - I got pregnant and ofc I cannot drink. But I also noticed my mental health is SO much better without alcohol and I will continue not drinking after getting my baby!🥰 a drink here and there should be fine, but I will never have a night where I go crazy with alcohol again… no thank you 🥴

From a person who has 5/6 family members who are alcoholics, there are no in between. It’s all or nothing. A drink here and there makes it easy to slide back into full drinking. Be strong , and seek a community of people going through the same thing i.e. AA, it will help as they understand and can keep on the right path. Good Luck!
