i forced all the plastic rivets out with a flathead screwdriver. I ended up pulling the keyboard out a bit forcefully and damaged 2 of them so bad that some of the inner layer of the palm rest got pulled out with them, I trimmed around those areas so it will be an interesting fix, and the thin metal plate is a little bent up. I was looking at ordering a new palm rest because some come with the keyboard already attached (it costs 4-5 times more). It is cheaper to buy a soldering iron and a new keyboard, even without soldering new rivets you can use it. What are you using to melt into the rivets?
