I am confused as to why this library branch requires donations from the community to be built/improved. I've never been asked to donate for my Beaumont Branch. I've been supporting my branch as a patron since it was on Southland Drive and now the beautiful Beaumont Branch is being renovated again! I'm thrilled, but not one time during all these moves and improvements was there a fund drive to get it done. What am I missing here??

Hello! Marksbury Family Branch is a much larger project than the Beaumont renovation. This fundraising campaign means that LPL will be able to fully staff, operate, and maintain the building within its regular budget once it opens in early 2024.

“Places where you can go where you are not being sold something” and the cover image is the main woman holding a LGBTQ book wearing pride colors! Why not keep the cover image neutral and a neutral book? This was obviously done as a push for an agenda.

My question is if her mother drove around campus looking for her, why didn't she see her car that doesn't make sense to me. And being gay was so taboo back then, she was in college possibly expeimenting, so I believe it could be true. The waitress saw her with the other girl, and then Arnold said he saw them in the car, and the other girl ran off, (the girl wouldn't come forward for fear for herself, and people thinking she was gay) he admitted to it I think he did it. He knew too much I know it was in the paper, but it just sounds like to me he did it. I hope someday they can find out for sure Betty deserves to RIP.

It isn't easy for me to dismiss his confession because it fits the facts and is plausible on its face.
