I'm old. We wore clip ons before piercing became a thing. They hurt when you've worn them all day. So you would put them on when you got up in the morning and wear them all day until you got home from work.. By then your earlobe had been pinched (albeit gently) for over 12 hours. That is when it hurts, not when you first put them on or even if you only wear them for an hour or so. Hope this helps 😊

If u have sensitive ears anything will hurt you wouldnt understand bc u got your ears peirced and likely went thru an adjustment period after but clip ons if youve never peirced your ear they will take u a bit to adjust to

Is it magnetic? If so then the ear piercing provides more clearance for the magnet and metal to attract thus pressing your earlobe resulting in more pain

@lykitmattersanyway the nerves in your ear lobe get damaged when you get a peircing and also thru trauma caused by any rubbing or bumping of said peircing resulting in a lower level of sensitivity in general not saying you cant hurt your skin if u put the magnetic clip on your peircings thin skin

Yes, but I have cousins with sensitive skin and clip ons, and certain brands do it better, so as an industry problem, it can defo be fixed!!
