Installed a new Self Lubricated Paxton, and just changed the oil for the first time at 2500 miles. However, before reaching the 7500 mile mark for the next oil change, I noticed the oil is a bright milky pink instead of the magenta red it normally has after checking the dipstick. Is this normal or is it a problem? Do I need to change the oil right away now, or can it wait till the 7500 mile mark? What is causing the oil to be bright milky pink? Water condensation? If so, how to get rid of it or does it happen from time to time normally?

Immediately change that oil. Don't run the blower until it's changed. You have water contamination. These blowers have a vent plug that you're getting water accumulation through. Do you happen to have a car with a hood vent? Drive in the rain possibly?

Appreciate the reply. Yes, I have a Shaker hood system and the Paxton vent plug is located right under the shaker system so when it rains the water may be going into the supercharger through the vent plug side. I'll drain it right away and change the oil. Thanks.

Fresh oil is hard to see in the dipstick. What’s happens if you overfill the oil by a quarter inch on the dipstick?

It’s an all new compressor stage optimized for the V-13, it’s more similar to the V-30 race superchargers than it is to the V-7 YSi or YSi-B.

@ryankorbel4771 Is that a 1000hp at wheels? If so the Ysi-B will make 1200 hp + at the wheels. Im making a little over 1200 hp at the wheels as a matter of fact i believe i have the 2nd fastest Ysi-B in the country running a 8 rib setup. 7.95 @ 162 letting out and 5.05 @ 137.43 1/8 th mile. 3000 lbs 1988 foxbody mustang. Small block ford 331 ci.

Yes, the complete version of the Supercharger System does include a new set 8 high flow fuel injectors to help handle the additional fuel requirements of the additional cfm provided by the Supercharger. The Tuner Kit is also available for these cars, which does not include fuel enrichment components or tuning, which would require those components be sourced separately.

There is a vacuum line diagram on physical page 42 of the 2015-2017 Mustang GT Installation Manual that indicates where the T fittings are added and where the vacuum signal from the valve is sourced. This Installation Manual can be found in the Support section of our website under "Installation Manuals".

I’ve had a Vortech supercharger put on my 350 Z in December my engine light just came on last night you don’t think there’s a chance that the oil leaked out of it do you/has this ever happened? … I have to wait until Monday until I can get it checked out

@@MeowMiata I have you an answer. No. Unless you move your MAF sensor downstream of the BOV, otherwise your car will act as if it's having a vacuum leak every time the BOV opens. Because it is. The HKS system is tuned to work as a closed system and depends on the recirculation of the bypass valve. Source:experience

I am not sure if I am hearing things or not, can you guys tell me if this sound is normal from the v3 or what might be causing it? I removed the belt and it turns fairly freely and doesn't make any noises that I do not remember it making but its been a long time since I had the belt off. Does oil get forced out of the vent plug during normal usage on a V3? betwen my vent plug & dipstick you can see basically dried oil...like a film covered in dust. I checked the dipstick and there's no oil on it cold. Been bout 3k miles since i last changed the oil. Do i need to warm it up before checking the oil?

I think Vortext makes a nice unit and I would definitely consider them but I really don’t like the blower on the passenger side I think it really doesn’t make any sense it moves a lot of things out of the way and I like to keep the car as close as stock as possible

I just seen your nitrous hook up in the engine bay. What shot can you run with a vortech vs 2 trim? I have nitrous and finishing my install with 100 shot. I am thinking about buy a vortech supercharger. I just do not want to blow the engine.
