Yum, can I add frozen corn to the base mix, and can I feed this to my 12yr cat🐈‍⬛🦊
@sachapacker571
@sachapacker571 11 ай бұрын
Hi, Cats have a different nutritional requirement so no, this isn't a cat recipe. Probably not really any good reason to add corn to it as it's not very digestable so they'll likely poop it out whole.

I find it hard to apply the tape. My dog does not stay standing up, he likes to lay down then the tape falls off. looks like a good idea, just can't seem to get it to work for us, thanks
@sachapacker571
@sachapacker571 Жыл бұрын
Hey there, if might like to use your knee inbetween your dogs hind legs as a stool for them. You'll need to check which kind of tape you're using, it has to be the stickier one so either the H20 one made for Surfers for example or the Horse one. Now, if you're using that and it's not staying then a few things could be at play - you're applying too much stretch so it's just pinging off or the coat is dirty OR has grooming products on it for example. Try some hair spray on the coat to help :)

I am new to this recipe. I have heard many good things about bone broth. I give my dog full chicken feet to eat, so they get the full benefit of the nutrients as well as the bone that you are tossing out. Can you enlighten me as to what are the benefits of making the bone broth over giving the complete foot to the dog.
@sachapacker571
@sachapacker571 Жыл бұрын
Hi :) Welcome. You're extracting the collagen from all the chicken feet i.e. 2 kilos and now when you're dog consume it, it's in a highly bio-available form. When you feed a chicken feet which you should continue to do, that's just 1 chicken foot - they'll still be able to obtain collagen from it but not in a way that the peptides have been broken down to be more absorbable :)

Thanks for this. I'm Trying to teach the newest member of the family (3y.o. Westie) to be comfortable with nail trimming. Is there any 'physiological' reason one foot might be more sensitive than another? with my two (poodle and westie) I've noticed front feet seem to be more sensitive than the back ones.

My 12-lb dog is almost 18 and has developed a rounded spine and limps when he goes downhill. It seems it is his left leg that is affected. Every other step going downhill, his leg seems too short to make contact with the ground. Can you tell me if taping, and this specific taping pattern you demonstrated, might help? Thanks so much!

Thank you for all the information. Also how to clip the nails, in what position the dog has to be. Front and back legs. Today I tried to trim the nails of our Dachshunds with my husband, but it was really difficult and forcing the dogs laying down on their sides gave me the best view of the nails. One of them has a bad back I think because clipping the back leg nails are difficult, she's moves like she is in pain when I hold her paw up.. So having her lean on my leg is interesting to try, I'll give that a go next time

A couple of things here ann, this is a demonstration video. No one is asking you to have your dog jump off a table, that isn't relevant to the taping protocol. I feel as though you feel upset and you're unfairly having a crack at me.

I can’t believe it. I got some cheap clippers and they were so annoying and cheap. I just had to find something better so I watched your entire video until your #1 pick. Low and behold, those are the ones I was using! I’m going to give them another chance. Maybe it’s the process I’m finding difficult and not necessarily the clippers.

I LOATHE miller forge with the orange plastic handles. they are the same as the generics and the metal is softer. This idea that they are not sharp are fixed with a chainsaw file and three passes on each side. These are all very easy to sharpen. Do NOT buy <Millers forge with the plastic Orange handles. They turn to crap within 2 months.

My border collie has had 3 herniated disc surgeries and is not walking with equal weight on both hind legs. I would like to use this tape to help him walk and move with a more proper gait. Is this possible? Is there a way for me to make an appointment for some help as to where I should apply the tape. His last surgery was T13-L1. Thank you for your time and help!

Hi Pam, I'm in Australia but you will be able to find someone in your country who can help you. You would have to shape the line the tape is going to be placed. Find out who your taping companies are in your country, I use Rocktape, then contact them and ask them for practitioner details of who trained with them. I would highly recommend laser therapy and hydro-therapy (underwater treadmill) for your situation with a physiotherapy program :)

@@heatherstewart9300 indeed, chooks! Hens don’t have robust intestinal systems and encounter many gut challenges as they peck about. Kefir is simply a fermented milk that removes the lactose (which chooks and dogs can’t tolerate much of) and which is especially high in all the B vitamins which strengthen the gut and immune systems. A chook fed kefir mixed into their grains is a happy chook!
