If you get dropped and some how get new insurance you will still get screwed over when putting a claim in. They will go back on the previous policy and why it was dropped annd blame poor maintanence. Second they will charge you through the roof. Just look after your home. Better to maintain it then live in disaster. Be at risk of fires, mold, ect. An insurance actuaries job is litterally to assess risk.

You really can’t complain. If you let your roof and walls deteriorate to that level, you can’t expect them to insure it. Even to the novice eye, you can tell that house is in a state of disrepair.

Its ironic that as a millennial, i've spent my entire life dreaming of finally owning a home and then when I finally turn 40 and can actually afford one, I dont even want one because of the ballooning cost of home ownership and all the issues with insurers in the age of climate change. I have some pretty bad luck, I would absolutely get into a situation where I buy a house that passed a perfect inspection just to have the roof and siding destroyed by hail one month after closing. Or have a sinkhole open up in my yard. Or get termites. Or have a tree fall on it. Or rowdy rapscallion neighbor children who constantly break my windows with baseballs.

Whatever, fact is that insurance cancellation saved that house. A roof like that is going leak short term. It seriously needed to be fix.

Was refused home owners insurance be had 2 claims at the current home and one claim with a different carrier on a different home in another state over 4 years prior. The claims were for totally different home in two different state yet I was classified as a high risk when the damage was weather related not due to poor maintenance.

I feel sorry for the daughter , two sociopaths as parents. Shayanna obviously only cares about money and herself. She stood by man who murdered her sisters boyfriend, and she knew it .
