Hope this deck makes a comeback in future sets. Right now IM@S Cool pretty much erased every other aggro deck from existance.

A really fun watch! I was also at the Grand Showdown, and funnily enough, we both came out with the same record - 4-3 in Swiss Rounds. Best to both of us if you're also attending the BCS in Sacramento soon, take care friend. <3 EDIT: Forgot to mention, one of my local friends (Gbuster) actually placed Top 16 with Fable Haven. Alice is busted dude! ^^

I prefer Craig over Penguin, since you can attack. Craig also answer the one threat Rune can't answer effectively, Forte.

played the deck a little, and honestly rose gardener feels like the worst card by far. There are...soo many times when I play her that I wish I could just delete the line of text that makes her bounce something and only use her as a cantripping 4-power rush, because 99% of the time I absolutely do not want to bounce anything. She's sat as a brick in my hand so many games because evolving her would actively help my opponent. Ive seen some lists cutting her entirely and either running water fairies or ancient elf, suzuka seems like a good option too for extra reach

Love these videos man! Kuon was a lot of fun to watch in the Idolmaster format, I very much agree it stays strong. Also, yes, Curse Crafter is BUSTED and it took me way too long to realize that haha. Good day!
@FantasyJaredАй бұрын
Ooh, another thing I wanted to comment on actually. I never considered running Suzuka in this list, but honestly, I feel like she'd be a perfect fit. I definitely agree with the sentiment on Rose Gardener, it's pretty solid and hard to go wrong with but I feel like Suzuka's Storm/Top-Decking and/or Tia's board-building could be better options for this deck. Absolutely terrified of Amataz, I've got some practice to do before this weekend haha. Love your stuff bro.

I only play 2 Dance and the deck works good my be you can use the Armot of the Stars + Steadfast Samurai. I dont play Leonidas i tink is to slow for themeta game. And i use 1 sea Queen Otohime to resist using the wards. Nice Video bro <3

This was a great watch! I'm definitely expecting to see at least a couple of these in bracket. Have some friends that play Sword at my locals, and as a Lishenna player, it's tends to be a game of "can I actually stuff out their plays every turn or do I just die by turn 6" LOL Keep up the great work bro, could not be any more excited for the regionals this weekend.

What are your thoughts on greenbrier elf for this deck?
@BoatsDontSinkАй бұрын
I think the deck gets more tools to play a bit slower and go for mid-late bursts more effectively over the next couple sets, and Greenbrier could fit really well in that style of deck!

I'm so happy to see Destruction listed as Tier 2! I really do believe many people are sleeping on it currently because of the new set hype, definitely taking it to regionals 'cuz it's always been my fav. <3
@FantasyJaredАй бұрын
This was super helpful, thank you! Set 6 Lishenna isn't actually that different, so as a resource I still got a lot of mileage out of this. Never thought to try playing Servant on Turn 2 for a potential 6 damage to face + 1 or 2 cost Spell! <3
@OuterOrangeАй бұрын
Good shit! I’d say the only thing is maybe cut back on the honorable mentions or put them at the end or maybe before the reveal of tier 1 to add hype to the list. 😀 otherwise I agree with this tier list 100%
@danhtran5088Ай бұрын
I'm surprised, this was very well thought out and was a great analysis. Everyone thought I was crazy when I said Lishenna is very well positioned this meta. Glad someone agree

Pixie Aggro feels badly overhyped. Yeah it can beat Kuon, and doesn't do particularly well against most other matchups and bricks so often.
@BelZonessАй бұрын
unironic skill issue. the bricks exist but given that most of your cards give you other plays, the number of games where you really brick is not that high and piloting the hands that aren't free rolls is where skill expression takes place
@BurnOneSVEАй бұрын
@@BelZoness this has been my personal take as well. I've seen people moan and groan at an opening hand and when I look at it and the match up I'm like why are they complaining this is almost a perfect hand for the match up? People were gaslighted into thinking this was basically like a face hunter deck from hearthstone just because occasionally you open an incredibly all in aggro hand that wins on 5/6

What do you think of Goblin and Goblin Princess in this deck?
@BoatsDontSink2 ай бұрын
They can make for pretty powerful cards in aggro decks in general, but I'd probably stay away from them in this deck in particular just because they don't help the Sanguine strategy, which I think has stronger payoffs in general and a faster win condition. Goblin King can make for a good defensive tool in the deck, but with how much damage the other cards deal to yourself, I think you'd rather end the game outright than have a big Ward, since burn effects and non-damage removal can make him a mostly wasted turn anyway.

Honestly have you thought of not playing agnes. I know sounds dumb but budget wise maybe?
@BoatsDontSink4 ай бұрын
@@CoryBedard-l7p Unfortunately Agnes is generally just too important in terms of position on the curve, effect on removal, and ability to recycle spells. If you absolutely had to cut her, it would either have to be for some other follower with a removal effect or for Tosen Jordan, I think.

It'll sound like a hot take but I tried replacing the Elephant with Beetle Warrior and it runs significantly better. Beetle being a very easy and low costed Storm that does not require evolving is something a lot fo people are sleeping on. That 5 DEF is often chunky enough that it ain't that easy to get rid of it compared to Sukuna or Suzuka, adding Nechla to the equation puts it safely out of Conflagartion range which Forest usually has a terrible time dealing with. Elephant turns out is ridiculously slow for Forestcraft standards when this same build very much works as a fast aggro deck with a lot of Storms rather than an Aegis-esque deck that tries to get to the late game.

If you had to, what would you recommend to people if they didn't own Maruzensky and Israfil? since those are some of the more expensive cards in the deck.
@ExiaP15 ай бұрын
For the sake of filling out room in the deck for those cards if you absolutely have to: I would recommend Playful Necromancer in place of Maruzensky. For Israfil I would say Lucifer or maybe Flame & Glass. The deck plays significantly different with vs without Maruzensky and Israfil on the deck.
@BoatsDontSink5 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, both serve rather unique functions that aren’t easily replaced, since Abyss doesn’t currently have other cheap removal outside of Wardrobe Raider, and doesn’t have a good board clear outside of Israfil. Alucard could be a decent Israfil replacement to replicate the defense gain and some amount of removal, leaning more aggressive. Maruzensky might be best replaced by a more aggressive option as well, since all of the other removal comes at a much high play point cost.
@xenosoul60455 ай бұрын
Can we get an Abyss deck next? Eachtar being a cool card to give new life to Abyss so seeing a list with it would be nice. :)

Thoughts on cutting out the luminous knight out for ninja trainee? In a meta where elephant forest is one of the top decks and has elf child, I think 1 hp isn't good in this meta. Also, on turn one if you have a quickblader and a ironwrought defender, which would you rather play? The one damage this turn or two damage next turn?
@nikki52956 ай бұрын
Personally I use Ninja Trainee instead because of the forest matchup. Other than that, I would want to play two cost 1 follower on turn 2 instead of one cost 2 follower. Depending on the match up, I wouldn't want to play quickblader on my turn 1 against a forest opponent, as they can shot it down with May. Against dragon they can ping 2 dmg, so quickblader would probably be better here
