Good luck. Hope it goes well. A bit of unusual wind here in France, but nothing comparable.

I’ve been in Beijing twice in two years, each for a few weeks. The air quality is actually quite good… they have certainly changed a lot to clean it up. I’m not sure when you last visited, but this advice is certainly not true anymore.

Folks just wanted to say thanks for the advice on this lens, as well as the platypod. If a bullseye had a bullseye, you would have hit the centre of it. Just came back from Rome and a Med cruise, and, along with the advice to get up early (I did) these two pieces of kit made good shots possible.

Level appears to add some distortion to some images it works on, it appears to be more than a simple rotate crop that the "auto" function does. Maybe I am wrong? I really wish there was a shortcut for this. I use autokey to do it, but I have to walk away and let it manually do it one image at a time to each image and I have to leave my PC alone doing it they whole time.

With the way Adobe is treating its customers and not in court over the way they are treating their subscribers it's time to move. Photo Raw 2025 looks very interesting.

Yes it replaces it, and you don't have to pay every month. I think they don't address it in the video because one of them is literally wearing a shirt with Adobe on it so they probably want to keep them sweet.

Totally legit. Age 82, started in sports photography and learned a ton that was helpful for doc/journo people photography. Also - preparing for a photo assignment requires the same discipline as prepping for a good training run or race: get grounded, deeply focused, eliminate distracting thoughts, and do only what feels right and guided. The intuitive heart is a real thing - check the research from the Institute of HeartMath. Or just read my book The Joyful Athlete (shameless).
