Hello Kevin I've been watching all your videos. I bought a 2000 Kawasaki ke100 the problem I'm having that was the top end would kill shut off like no fuel getting to carburetor at 50 mph. After adjusting the float the problem went away. Now I got no throttle response it bogs in neutral when you take off in first gear I got no power and I got to ride the clutch out. Do you have any suggestions thank you Luke

@2strokeguru I noticed the more oil from thr oil pump the more power. I think it creates more compression. When I got my GTMXE bike the oil pump was past the middle mark, now it's in the middle and it's way faster
@2strokeguru4 күн бұрын
@capsitan the oil doesn't increase compression however on rotatary valve the valve will seal better with a better cushion of oil on the valve

if its a higher idle and cant idle down the throttle cable might be too tight if that's not it it could have air leak

I'm looking for a two stroke or four stroke off road bike that is less than 125lbs that can carry a 5'9' 175lb guy comfortably up to 25mph, and enough power to take me up a 50% grade from a dead stop. Anyone got any ideas? I did the power riding when I was a teen. Even raced a little motocross. But I'm a senior citizen now, and I want a bike I can carry with my car. The max tongue weight is 150lbs. This has to include both the carrier attached to my rear bumper and the bike. Why bikes are so heavy now days is a mystery to me. My first full size bike was 100cc in the early 70s, and weighted about 100lbs. It waa a two stroke, and had no headlights, tail lights, etc, and I replaced the metal fenders with lighter plastic. Now days, if a bike is under 200lbs, it is considered light. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

This appears to be an older KE100 1976?. What size of finishing hone do you use? Brand and type of ends?
@2strokeguru25 күн бұрын
Aaron's bike is a KE 125,his bike was a 1977, I believe. The hone is going to depend on how severe the scoring is. I don't use a brand specific, I get them off of Ebay. It really depends on who has the better deal. For light scoring, use the finer grit, and for deeper scores, use a more coarse, then use the fine. If you have a KE100 hone size is 49.
