These questions are the right questions to ask, but I do hope he realises the gravity of the situation and how bad his squad is compared to other league leaders! Scott is many things but he’s certainly not a goal scorer. Just look at his recent record in the Euro qualifiers for Scotland he’s only scored 6 goals in 4 and a bit games. That’s no where near enough for a defensive midfielder up against Spain, Norway and others. He’s got to pull his socks up and at least try

He should play as a target man/physical shadow striker behind Hojlund like the role they gave Fellaini. He could pose a real threat unlike these countless playmakers in the squad who literally can't get any passes through or score a goal. Eriksen/Bruno/Mount/Mejbri should be #8's or coached better to perform on the right wing, tbh sell 2 of them in January they are not playing well.

I still hold all the criticism of Scott as a CDM which he should never be. Always a box to box midfielder at best. Needs to be used in this way when needed up the top using his physicality and technical ability as far as shooting etc.
