Driving the team forward, I like the sound of that! For all our possession last season sometimes it was too ponderous and although I can't argue it wasn't effective I'm looking forward to a bit more direct/quick attacking next season. Welcome Jermaine.

With only 1 automatic promotion spot which is a joke this leauge is the hardest to get out of.Do what chesterfield did go for quality not quantity or you'll be scratching around this leauge for a fair few years.

You've got some class players, but you're at a very similar point to where we (Chesterfield) were last year. Just lacking that little bit of quality to put your chances away in key moments. It really does make all the difference, believe me. You're probably 3 top signings away from winning this league. Good luck

@@Toby-ln2mj Exactly. I was alluding to the fact DB always seems to think every half chance we have should 100% result in a goal. We were tactically outclassed. But, he always blames and singles out a player or two - usually the GK or striker.. He should take a look at himself. Our record against the top teams was pathetic this season.

Agree with some of Dean's points, we do need better quality, but how did we in a semi final as Dean say we played our worst game, the 3 centre backs wasn't working and plain to see, this is in manager, don't know what it were O'Donker was.

Because they weren't mentally prepared for the pressure that came with the game. Barnet were expected to win whilst Solihull had a free shot. The fear of throwing it away crippled them.

Our lack of pace and aggression throughout the team cost us dearly. Our players are good at showboating against the bottom half of the table, but found wanting against the better sides. Playing with 3 centre halves, the wing backs should attack when we have the ball and get in the box. But when you have a winger who has spent the whole season running into cul de sacs, you can't blame them for waiting to clean up after he loses the ball! A very good season but came up short in the final furlong.

Terrible wzy to end thr season. Set plays were hopeless. Never looked as if we could score where they looked dangerous every time they attacked. Looking on the bright side, one step further than last year, go win the league next season

Need 2 wingers, and need to stop playing 3-5-2 in games like this where it is clear within 20 minutes that it's not working. The players played terrible, and the manager took too long to change tactics
