By me falling and hitting my head getting a C1 atlas misalignment and post concussion syndrome 2.5 years ago could this have caused an auto immune response within my body? I used to be a healthy 41 year old who lived in the gym and ate healthy and now having issues afterwards.

Excuse me Dr. I have this fatty portion on the upper portion on my right hand (palm region) due to me I'm assuming breaking my third metacarpal bone in my right hand it has since then healed but am wondering if i cause some sort of arthritis or tendon issues to it now when i place my hand down flat on a table or wall or floor etc.. it's quite sensitive as opposed to my left. 🤔

It’s possible. You’ll need imaging to determine whether any structural problems are present.

So I have constant pain in my left middle finger Metacarpophalangeal (MCP). It hurts so bad and is hard to grip anything and is actually starting to migrate to my Adjoining finger. My question is what doctor should I go see? I know rheumatoid arthritis Doctors are in high demand so I'm wondering if there's another doctor I should initially see or should I automatically get an appointment with a rheumatoid arthritis doctor.

My Dr also asked if I was getting turmeric, so I know she’s got my number trying to avoid drugs, and is supportive in that.

Hi, there. I'm Alejandro. I wish to pass a brief message of how I had been able to overcome my rheumatoid arthritis via a naturopathic process. Before I was exposed to these natural remedies for healing my arthritic conditions, I had once been a victim of this debilitating disease and had suffered a great deal due to the worsening of my condition. My fingers were crooked and thus, it had been impossible for me to partake in any able-bodied activity. I was practically damaged by this condition, which had also led to my prompt resignation from my job. Quitting my job was the most downhearted experience I had ever had to go through as a sufferer of this diseases. This condition had worsened over time - from the deformity of both hands, to my short-lived marriage. The pharmaceutical recommendations were not favorable to me at all, and it was if the more pharmaceutical products I had depended on, the more critical the whole situation became for me. This whole painful scenario had persisted for a very long time, until Providence had issued certain natural remedies to me via the professional assistance of an African herbal practitioner by the name Dr. Harry Abeng. This herbal specialist Dr. Harry: [email protected] is responsible for the satisfactory improvement of this condition. An advert led me to contact this herbal healer for professional guidance in reversing my arthritic condition. I was very impressed at his knowledge in naturopathy and the hospitality he had showed in wanting to help me overcome this disease naturally. I was thus recommended some herbal products by this herbal healer which were utilized to great effect. I am very marveled at my recent improvement from arthritis and which is why I want to use this opportunity to pass this piece of message to any sufferers of this condition, who may run across this post, as a motivator not to hesitate to spread this message and also try this natural remedy for a momentous improvement . I hope to use this piece of information to resuscitate hope in anyone experiencing the same ordeal.

Anyone else have both elbows that hurt every second of every single minute of the day? RA Factor positive. Hands, wrists, elbows, ankles, lower back and neck. I don’t really hear many mention elbows. Thanks
@ChicagoArthritis
@ChicagoArthritis Ай бұрын
If you objectively have inflammation in the elbow joints, then that is possibly consistent with an RA diagnosis. Alternatively if the tendons are inflamed, you may have an alternative diagnosis. A good quality diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound of the elbows and evaluation by a Rheumatologist should be your next steps.

What are you looking for specifically in an ultrasound and what part of the body is it done on.
@ChicagoArthritis
@ChicagoArthritis 2 ай бұрын
Generally most peripheral joints and tendons can be evaluated. Looking for inflammatory findings (effusions, synovial hypertrophy, Doppler uptake, crystal disease, and erosions) structural findings (joint space narrowing, osteophytes, tendon or ligament tears), instability (dynamic scanning, range of motion under ultrasound, stability of joints/ligaments), and comparison to opposite side.

I understand that the difference between PRP and stem cells is that PRP cannot get past the scar tissue but stem cells can . Something you said earlier seemed to confirm this. (It was around 22: on the time line but cannot find it .) Is this the reason you move from using platelets to stem cells ? Does all treatment require starting wwith PRP or can you discern when to start with stem cells and skip the PRP treatment (like when there has been an injury )?
@ChicagoArthritis
@ChicagoArthritis 2 ай бұрын
Some injuries/degeneration will do better with bone marrow stem cells upfront. For example, more advanced arthritis or more significant tendon tear. Also if you had prior surgery on a joint, and were considering an orthobiologic treatment, stem cells generally are a better option than PRP because of the prior surgical trauma.

As I said in another of your videos Boron and CFA (Cetylated fatty acid ) -- better than omega 3 . I took it for a while but the quality of it makes a difference but CFA (Celadrin is better).

Nice and succinct. Well done. Though you didn't get to the treatment or regenerative part that is your specialalty. I hope a video on it is coming . I have had most of these checked as my mother had RA and I have kept a close watch. One hand has classic nodules but as you describe wear and tear is responsible. My sport doc thought arthritis but I rarely have pain and when I do it is quickly alleviated with increasing blood flow and circulation with a 100% angora hand/wrist warmer. Also no inflammation on blood tests. However, what I am more concerned about now is knee degeneration from over use, and back and neck trouble from whiplash . I am getting relief from a combo of Boron mineral and Cetylated fatty acid supplement Celadrin (apparently an Arthritis doc in Bestheda Maryland discovered a gene in mice that do not get arthritis and isolated it in a lab and created a version of CMO or a CFA -- it works ) ! (With Mag and Vit D ) This is keeping me upright and on my feet . But still hoping for a regenerative treatment with stems cells! So hoping you do a video on this .

Thank you for making another informative video. For over 30 years I've been dealing with RA, followed by Hashi, Sjodren's, Cushing's and recently Drug - induced Lupus. I've been told that additionally I have OsteoArthritis and Degenerative Bone Disease, Osteoporosis. My DEXA showed a small amount of OsteoPena. Since the RA stopped responding to the meds, the only one that kept me walking was low dose (20 mg) prednisone. None of the RA drugs are safe to take, most are deadly. My Drs all copy each others opinion, that prednisone is to blame . I tried to get Emergortho to give me Stem cell therapy, but was told that I'm too old. Is there an age limit? I'm 63 and determined to get my health back.

@ChicagoArthritis Thank you for responding. Do you and your center provide this type of stem cells, for patients with autoimmune diseases and osteoporosis? Have they been successful? The fractured vertebrae are feeling better when they have kyphoplasty. Nine out of ten are repaired. Presently, there is a fracture at T5. I'm still looking for a specialist that has the ability and perhaps a method that uses stem cell. Ideally, I want a method that will help my bones and joints to become more dense and strong. Are these possibilities? It would be fantastic, not to have surgery for my knees, hips, hands, fingers, feet and toes.
