Hey, Laura!!! How are you, love? You've got a great TBR for Novembe. I also own The Spellshop and The Heir, which I need to read before the end of the year. I can't wait to start my Christmas romances in December as well. You look great!!! Take care, love😊❤⚔️🗡

Such a fun game :- ) Good luck with your TBR! I will also continue reading witchy books in November because I didn't get to all of them in October :- D

Hi Laura, have you picked up The Wild Huntress by Emily Lloyd-Jones yet? I’m half way through and am loving it! It is based on Welsh folklore, autumnal, atmospheric, has an animal companion. The lore, world, and descriptions of nature are so lyrical and lovely. I think you might like it. 😊

Using the D4 was definitely a mistake after all the 1’s started popping up 🤣 I’m glad you went back to the D6, the TBR may have lasted forever otherwise (though all those 1’s were criminal) ⚔️

I really liked Payback's A Witch but I also don't typically read romance, so I am probably looking for different things than a romance reader. :) Hope the rest of October will go better for you.

Oh my, I think it’s so hard to find a quality autumnal romance. Thank you for weeding out a bunch so that I don’t have to suffer through them. 😅 ☕️🍂🥥

The heroine is actually 20 in The Coven. There is a common misconception due to the editing being slightly lacking on that front. But it does clarify in Chapter 4. It was confusing to me at first, too. I enjoyed it halfway thru, plus the ending really made the hero as a villain make sense. Plus, I just really love The Adventures of Sabrina vibes. 3 stars for me, too! I'm hoping to get to the 2nd one in October. Definitely did the same, I wanted to justify purchasing, so I checked it out from the library first. Yes, i did succomb 😂

Oh no! I am sorry the books were mostly not hitting. I hope things slow down as we move out of eclipse season and you have some wins. I read Lavash at First Sight by Taleen Voskuni and it was a sapphic foodie romance that was lovely and cozy

so glad you enjoyed An Education in Malice! i also gave it 4.5 stars. i feel like a lot of people who didnt like it probably havent actually read the source material. I really appreciated the way that S.T. Gibson gave Laura back her agency while also redeeming Carmilla herself. as of right now, i am 70% into Evocation, and its sitting between a 4 or a 5. cant wait to see how it ends! (altho im a bit peeved theres a spoiler in the synopsis!)
@ABookCircus21 күн бұрын
Exactly!! It was brilliant. Oh I can’t wait to read Evocation. Oh no, I’m sorry. I don’t think I’ve read the synopsis, so now I’ll make sure not to.
