EUPHORIA 310 COOLTOUCH THERMOSTATIC SHOWER SYSTEM, 1.75 GPM "Overpriced and Defective: Grohe's Poor Product Quality and Even Worse Customer Service" This is, without question, the worst Grohe product anyone could purchase for over $1,000, plus $500 for installation. Grohe is completely out of touch with its customers and clearly does not properly test the products they sell. The head shower barely drips water, offering zero force, and the hand shower performs even worse. The water stream from the hand shower is so weak that it simply pools in your hand due to the lack of pressure. Grohe’s customer service is beyond incompetent. For three days, I was repeatedly told that the installation must be faulty, despite my clear explanation that the tub spout had excellent pressure. To prove the point, I swapped out the hand shower with a 15-year-old Grohe unit I had, and the difference was night and day-the old hand shower worked like a massager, demonstrating that the issue lies with Grohe’s new product, not the installation. After finally acknowledging the problem, the representative suggested I upgrade the 1.75 GPM head and hand shower to 2.5 GPM models (shower head #27135 and hand shower #27575) for better pressure. When I asked for an exchange, I was told that because the purchase was made through Home Depot, they couldn’t help, and I should return to Home Depot for a refund or exchange. Home Depot, of course, requires me to return the entire unit, not just the faulty parts. Grohe’s customer service, run by individuals who seem utterly clueless, proposes ridiculous solutions and refuses to take any responsibility for their defective product. They are unwilling to perform a simple exchange of the faulty shower head and hand shower, leaving customers stuck with a subpar, over-priced system. It doesn't show how to fit the rod into the drainage plug. There is just a rod and one bold on the bottom of the plug. How can this reliably work to open and close the drainage plug?

Great video, but it would be helpful if it illustrated how exactly to loosen the coupler from the hose before unthreading - the video cuts to it already being completely loose. The red sticker on the coupler indicates to do this by hand only, but it feels superglued together and because the coloured sleeve spins, it's difficult to get a good grip on it.

I thought that this what I needed, because my swivel has become so tough that it has loosened the whoile unit from the sink...............but I just cannot remove the swivel arm. It's stuck solid. I even tried giving it a gentle nudge with a car jack; no joy. Any ideas? Is there a certain orientation that the arm needs to be in before it will slide upwards?

How to fix Smart Control 310 cube no hot water?

It's a shame GROHE doesn't seem to value its customers enough to listen to their feedback. I'm installing today, years after some of these comments and apparently nothing has changed. The tolerances the three studs is - literally - a hairs width. The holes are so close to the shower head that you are bound to crack tile. No consideration is given to the pipe behind. IF you insist on these tolerances, INCLUDE A SOLID TEMPLATE that may be used. In any event, do not follow this absurd video. Take an allen wrench and remove the fitting itself and use it as a template. Do NOT try to use it to mark while the pipe is on, While a slight PITA, it WILL save you time and aggravation, I am currently waiting for epoxy to dry for the cracked tile while boring out the holes to make this thing fit. Just not real well thought out, OH, and use two nuts Back-to-back to install the studs - don't even bother with the weak star-fitting. It WILL Strrip.

My handheld comes on when I turn dial left, however the handheld is situated to the right of the showerhead. How can I revers this so that the showerhead which is on the left side turns on when I turn the dial left instead of when i turn it to the right. Does this make sense? I think my plumber screwed it up.

I replaced the hose for my Grohe 30306DC0 SuperSteel Eurosmart Pull-Out Spray Kitchen Faucet. Thanks for a great video. However, the hole on the new weights seem to be smaller and I can't get it to close around the hose. Are there different sizes for the weights? The old one had screws, this one a clip.

Hi @GroheAmeria - My system sprays water around where the blue hose connects to the adaptor (as seen at 1:11). It seems the clamping / sealing system has changed as my system and instructions show a different red clamp from the one in the video seen at 1:17. Please advise how to proceed.

Dabei habe ich doch eine Grohe Wandhalterung. Aber man kann sie nicht waagerecht stellen. Selbst wenn ich sie waagerecht stellen könnte, dann wäre da ja eine Knickbelastung auf dem Schlauch. Wodurch er schneller altert und auch ständig gegen die Wand schabert. Was für eine Fehlkonstruktion! Und das nennt sich dann Made in Germany. Eine Schande ist das! Diesem Duschkopf fehlt eine 30 Grad Kröpfung. So einfach ist das!

So I’m not the only one that thinks Grohe stuff is now rubbish. Original German Grohe used to make about the best plumbing products available, then they took over a Chinese manufacturer and in 2014 sold out to a Japanese multinational. Bought a tap/faucet recently and it’s the first one in 40 years that was cracked and leaking straight out of the box ! Just trading on the name now, like so many other crap producers !

Yeah new version vs old wrt cutting the spindles and a really ambiguous step 14 that I interpreted as remove the locks, made me cut mine too short. Would have been helpful for the new videos to warn about the different cutting procedures. Now I have to find replacement spindles, which of course have no product number and only seem to come with replacement valves. :(
