These people are noobs. The South Alabama Electric Coop power company will remove unwanted trees 15 feet from each side of an active power line for free. Call them on the phone and tell them you have a chainsaw from Walmart and you've watched a few videos online on how to drop a tree and it doesn't look that complicated. They will talk you down off the ledge and send out a crew to remove the trees.

Who ever estimated cutting 115 trees for 28k is a moron. That comes out to $243.00 a tree. Who in the right mind is going to climb, top and remove 115 for that amount of money. Its not like most of these trees can be sold. A family of six can barely eat dinner for that price and you want someone to pay a living wage, have a license, have insurance and be dependable in an incredibly dangerous environment.

Ah the beauty of a free market moron.
@TrailerParkTurnaroundАй бұрын
Hello TTG, It appears you missed the purpose of the episode. "Needs vs. Wants" We don't need to cut 115 trees. Our estimate was for the amount of trees that NEED to be trimmed/removed because they are affecting the lives of the residents. At the end of the day the contractor and our team agreed upon a price for the amount of work that was needed to be done. The beauty of a free market. Thank you for tuning in and stick around for the next episode.

People do that job for minimum wage in some areas... Equipment is the expensive part and thats maybe 1-2k per week.

The thing about Onslow county is there will always be a market for housing. This is an area that is constantly growing. Some of the biggest issues here are inflated real estate prices and tax and insurance prices that continue to grow. Basic insurance policies do not cover wind and hail or flooding, those are underwritten by the state. Hurricanes and tropical storms happen yearly.

Those are mobile homes, if one needs moved out with pole is in front of the tow and will need pulled. On the side it can stay in place to service any replacing home
@patentexperts1675Ай бұрын
Yes, in the front to side.
@KiwiCatherineJemma2 ай бұрын
I reckon that the best way for Mobile Home/Trailer Parks, would be, either a resident owned co-operative non-profit ownership structure, or else if the owner/manager lives there in one of the mobile homes themself.

So how much do you raise rents when you buy a park?
@MrSuperchargeron2 ай бұрын
They want the poles on the front of the property for liability reasons. They don't want to have a long span of wire over the top of a structure in case it were to fall. This is standard practice because it has been a problem in the past.. Lawyers... That's why we can't have nice things.
@LygerTheCLaw2 ай бұрын
exactly, you can't always have things you prefer but you have to do them in a way that meets code.

Most companies buying these are doing minimal work, but raising lot rent continually. Nice trailers are 100k in my area with lor rent and such its over 2k a month, what a disaster.
