The 2 1/2" unit is an absolute beauty! We used it all last winter to heat our old two story house on the Canadian prairies while we renovated it. I called it "the dragon". I connected I think 14 chimney pipes together and vented it out the old chimney. The exhaust was warm to the touch before it went into the chimney. So we gleaned most of the heat for our interior comfort. We burnt a pallet per day. We cooked lots of pancakes on it and french fries at night. I disconnected the first 6 or 8 pipes every morning to clean them with the wire brush. I restocked the firebox every 15 minutes with wood. I used the electric chain saw to buck up 2 pallets every 2 days. I really want the 3 1/2" unit with the double combustion chamber (more heat, no smoke, less build up ceresote in the pipes probably) along with the full sized oven and water heater. Also it has a bigger firebox for more wood and longer burn time. Beautiful stoves! Nothing is better when -50C outside! The 5kw dwarf stove and oven combo with 5" chimney is also very compelling...but it does not have the double combuston chamber. Maybe I'll buy both and test them. Enjoy life:)

Also, with the portable out doors Air Conditioner units this would be a great tent for hot desert camping too. Throw up a solar panel off grid system and great fun and independence too ❤🏕️⛺🎪 ✨👯💏🥇☕

I had setup my Traveler in my backyard to dry after a recent camping trip when we were hit by an unexpected thunderstorm with torrential rain and wind gusts up to 80mph. Although the tent eventually collapsed when the ground turned to mud and could not hold the stakes, it stood for an impressive length of time. In the end, there was tree, roof, and fence damage everywhere (and a few nearby wooden power poles were even snapped in half) but my tent sustained no permanent damage.
