For years, I wondered which characters they were referring to with that second set of names. It wasn't until recently I realized the second set of names are simply anagrams of the first set of names. It turns out this was meant to be the English take on the first few lyrics of the Japanese opening, as the first few lyrics in that opening are anagrams of all the main Ham-Hams names, instead of only half of them.

I still wish that the English Dub of the Hamtaro was able to keep going and be able to reach things we can only remember from via the Japanese Dub. :(

Wow I never knew it was more even in Japan. But I’m pretty sure back in the day it was way harder to get access to the Japanese dubs. I would like that also to seen it finished

I had recently binged watched the english dub of this show and honestly I think this show REALLY has a great laid back wholesome feel that most Anime shows lack in favor for fast paced action shows.

Holy shit, this is one of those things you remember as a kid but as an adult you wonder if it was actually real. Weird that I liked this show. I was usually into the darker or more supernatural stuff.

It really is. The episode where the Ham-Hams disguised themselves as a _hina_ doll set (Midnight Celebration) is the only episode I recall fully watching. There was also that one where Bijou was a princess, but I don't remember it as fondly.
