Jill, Great video. Where can I buy the bending tool and templates for copper shingles,hip etc.

What was that site again to go and pick up the information to learn how to do this or make the product?

I made these shingles which take an enormous amount of time.. controlling dimensions and consistent shingles are important otherwise it won't go together.. You need to make 100's if not 1000's which are very hard on your hands...

I made those shingles for a coupola ..240 shingles hand made took an enormous amount of time to cut and bend by hand. Came out great if you have the time

I've always wanted to try this myself. I fabricated many flat seamed roofs and this idea would be great for a pitched roof. I would have flattered the seams, but I do like the look.. it feels natural/organic.

I've seen Samsung ranges (electric and induction) with slightly extended sides so that they overlap the counter giving it a seamless look. But not anymore.

good one but the height of the range must be level on all 4 corners making the counter and stove top on the same plane plus the gap must be parallel and not too wide for this to work. The other solutions on you tube are terrible. You spent a couple of grand on the appliance and fill the gap with a cheap looking piece of plastic or metal that looks like something your brother in law cooked up.

We have tried to fix the shingles. But we are facing a problem - the last piece of the shingle that is there on the edge.. that piece have a one bent side which is visible. How to take care of it? Thanks in advance.

Normally roofers kneel on the shingle while they nail down the next shingle. I imagine that would bend these shingles. So how does the roofer install these?

are you going to solder all of those joints?

I tried that with my warped gates 2 years ago. No only did it not straighten them, pretty sure it exacerbated the warping. I used 2 anti sag cables in an X pattern, and no matter how I tensioned the cables, it never reduced the warping.

Nice. I would recommend switching to Torx bit style screws. I made the transition a few years back. There is virtually no slipping when screwing them in.

Thank you Jill I have the same problem I was going to rent a power washer but I can use Goodall Dawn dishwashing. I’m sure you know but I discovered the wonders of Dawn two summers ago when I had a bad case of poison ivy and after going to the doctor and he said he’s got a large lot and he takes a shower and Dawn dishwashing after gardening in his large backyard.
