Am a bit concerned with the safety here,I can't see any protection for the participants chopping except of course the one that we see closest to the screen. What happens when one misses a swing and looses grip of the axe hitting his co competitor?😼 Edit.......…....He is not safe too 😔

Saw his 15 yr old son yesterday in a heat of the felling. Started as back marker on 29 and beat men 2 and 3 times his age, A great performance. Hope I see him when he grows up!

Hi Steve No Sorry mate. I got these old ones from the National Film and Sound Archive. I did a quick search today for "Tom Kirk", only got one result, so maybe you should check that out. Also you could give them a call or visit them and have a talk to someone, they're pretty helpful. regards Aaron Youd

@WVAxeman Jamie, I trust you found the others! I've got plenty more. Upload them all is the plan. I remember you mentioned that you had some old world series videos from the 70's. Not sure whether you would want to but is there any chance you could forward me some copies. I'm not wanting to post them on KZbin without permission, but I do love watching them regards Aaron Youd
