I’ve been making this for 30 years. I recommend dark meat. I cook my chicken chasseur (2 packets) in a crockpot and just before I serve it I add white wine to the pot. ❤ I serve it with mashed potatoes (cream & butter).

Would you say the outside layer is that of a flour tortilla or is it a pastry puff.

Late to the party here. Looks great! Does it work if you start spinning the record on the turntable and hold the plasma device above the record as it spins?
@LessTalkMoreDelicious
@LessTalkMoreDelicious 21 күн бұрын
As I've researched before, when the record is on the platter, any static automatically & temporarily dissipates/discharges from the record and onto the/any bigger "mass" (in this case, the platter and large turntable). But, once you remove the record again from the platter, the static jumps back onto the record. So, if you try to treat the static while on turntable/platter, then "nobody's home" (static isn't home anymore/temporarily, until you remove it from platter again) and it won't treat the record as good, or much. A quick test to see this theory in action is trying to brush off dust in-hand vs. on-platter. The dust clearly wipes off easier while on-platter (since "nobody's/static's not home" atm). But, in-hand, it is frustrating as dust just sticks to record, or jumps back-and-forth b/n sides. I'm sure the plasma will still work to some degree while record is on platter... but, not as well/efficiently/permanently as holding it in-hand, off-platter. Hope that makes sense.

8:25 I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the handles are not Rosewood. I am as shocked as you, and the only reason I know this is because I went to sand off a smidgen of paint and was blown away by the fact that it’s merely stained to look like Rosewood. No bother, some Ebony Timbermate and BLO brings back the color to nearly the same effect. I could be wrong, but my bet is stained English Walnut

6:36 this is honestly my favorite feature of the Record 405 and I wish the Stanley 45 had the micro-adjusting fence; but I have both a Stanley 45 (which I feel is more ornate and has a better casting quality) and a Record 405 (which I feel has better features)

Just picked up one of these this week at salvage for $81. No box but a full set of original cutters and plenty of rust to remove. Likewise, bought it because I need a way to perform tongue and groove joinery, make rabbets, dadoes, etc, and no room for a table saw (though I do have a router and a Shaper Origin, I enjoy hand tool woodworking too much to give it up for anything). EDIT: Mine came without the manual, so thank you very much for videoing the entire manual for us

I'd buy one, however the grip section is too bulky for my preference, and I enjoy using thinner pencils. I'm also not very fond of the sound being so loud when expanding the lead. That's only my preference though; its still a great drafting pencil (durable, affordable, customizable, sleek)

@@LessTalkMoreDelicious It was a dish popular near Tulsa, OK. It has since gone away. There is a place in Tulsa named Asian Fusion that serves it but is slightly different than what I grew up with. Asian Fusion serves Springfield Cashew Chicken. Rumor has it that the two dishes have similar origins.

My favorite pencil. I carefully added some WD40 inside the joints to make the twisting action much more smooth. I had to poke the head with a needle a bit to make the head grip the body better. I have many mechanical but for me this is the sexiest.
