close but no cigar. this was for the soundtrack to an old 80s flick called Dudes. they just had to record this fast as hell on basic equipment, it's actually one of, if not the last recording with Chris Poland and Gar

as others said this is Gar and Poland and the tone is similar to SFSGSW sound cause its from the same sessions in 1987 and Paul Lani produced as the credit notes on Dudes soundtrack. Mustaine told on his book, both Gar and Poland were fired while SFSGSW album still was on the recording procedure in 1987. there is also somewhere in youtube a concert from 1987 playing Mary Jane with the original Megadeth line up... this version from Dudes soundtrack didnt make it on Hidden Treasures EP due to copyrights, that;s why after early 90s all the repressing versions of Killing Is My Bussiness album lacked the song These Boots...

@@TheMegadeth350 if youre talking about Dudes soundtrack, all i know is out of print decades ago... i;ve got my copy (vinyl) a used one back in the middle 90s, a little bit expensive for a soundtrack indie movie...
