These often need to be jump started by touching two areas using a jumper wire. Keep looking, this video doesn't show that.

Video helped me with my wife's watch Batteries Plus said that they could not get the watch to reset. Instead of paying them $17.99 for a one-time replacement, I got 10 batteries for $15 and replaced and reset them properly since I suspected the gentleman did not pay attention to the exact contact points.

I just bought this watch yesterday (11 June 2024), was a bit shocked that the in box user manual basically only shows you how to set the time. No information on the alarm, timer, or stopwatch functions. Not to mention some hidden features like the flash alert and timer auto repeat. Great video, thanks!

Made in Japan, screw in case back - they don't make many of these squares without jumping up to the radio models. That makes this one unique. Plus the subtle matching brick pattern on the bezel and strap is a nice touch.

Hey! I need your advice. Clearly you know your g lide. I just picked up a glx 5600 in “sunset orange.” Is this strictly a woman’s watch? Would you keep it? Do you have any in this size? Let me know your thoughts

Did you mean the GLX-5600RT-4? Yes I have it. It's not a woman's watch in my opinion. I use it whenever I'm wearing something with a hint of orange and I always get compliments from my colleagues. Rock 'em brother 🤘🏽

GLX are full size. BLX are smaller: better suited for women.

Idiotic question: Besides hard hitting the wall when the lighr do not start anymore, how do i know when the battery is low? Is there any indicator? I have had my watch for about 16 years now and i would be curious to know when it will finally go down.

You will notice the digital display is not that crisp anymore and it will be a bit difficult to read.

Never mind..! Forgot to press "mode" right after resetting and adjust the dials manually with reverse and forward, then save with "adjust". Thanks for the video!

You can also set your timer to auto repeat by pressing the light button while setting it. The "auto" will appear above the numbers and it will automatically repeat your timer

I bought this watch many years ago when it was on sale for 64 bucks. (I should have bought more.) I love it and have worn it a ton. Wish I would have bought the white one back then too. You have a lot of watches on your videos I should have collected over the years. Especially the surf rider and the globe collaboration. 👍🏼👍🏼
