The guitar sounds like some tried to play along the song as if it was played in the radio. And not very well.

Love this band and this medley but unfortunately this is not them playing as there are no mics on the drums and they have no stage monitors or in ear monitors at all. Not their fault, it was probably the producers.

I am pretty sure they recorded this live and then used it for live tv playback. The entire piece is on a summer edition of the single bottom of your soul. It bets doing a playback to the studio version of a ancient cd.

I just read the best comment below. Luke is using an electric guitar during Bottom of your Soul while you hear an acoustic
@ATalkingBadger7 жыл бұрын
Stephen Mountenay-Henhawke Then one of 2 things happened: 1. He hit one of the many pedals on his pedal board and switched from distorted to acoustic. 2. Tony Skinner was playing off of the stage. You must not know much about guitars, but I can make my Ibanez Destroyer sound like an acoustic guitar. It doesn't take a guitar expert to do that. However, Steve Lukather is THE guitar expert. Don't ever doubt him or Toto.
