Mike, perfect time to hear your message as we await our 4th of July celebration in America. We are so fortunate to be in this country. We could certainly do better, but I am grateful to be in this land of promise, freedom, and opportunity. Let us live in gratefulness. Thank you for your words.

I smiled at this recollection of Vernon. Such a great guy. This edition of Moments with Mike is a touching tribute to his legacy. Everyone he ever met was better for that exchange, no matter how small. While he was taken from us here in Earth, I look forward to the reunion in heaven. God speed, Vernon!

Love this Mike! Love the analogy too! I once fell off my horse, literally after my dad smacked him on the rear and was thrown into a gate, and I thought my arm was broken, but before I could leave the field, dad made me get back on that horse, and it truly has made all the difference. Had I not got back on that horse that day, I would have never ridden again. I love riding, and I love the analogy - when you fall off your horse, just get back on at some point! The sooner the better! Happy Monday friend. Looking forward to more videos this month!

Thanks Theresa. You've shared other stories of how you have had to get back on the horse, like your journey to Clemson. Keep walking strong.
