What would you do if one of the wires in a factory plug in the dash is loose? My headlights only work when the switch is hanging under the dash, won’t work when the switch is installed unless I reach up there and squeeze the wires. New headlight switch already installed. 89 Ramcharger can’t pass state safety inspection due to this issue.
@brokentoolgarageАй бұрын
You can try Rockauto or parts store for a new connector. If that does not work you will need to put a new terminal on the loose wires.

Not a bad little vid, sir. Your choice of background music is far, far better than most!, too. I just had done to my '16 F150 a complete refresh of it's 8.8 Super, adding a shorter gear set (4.09 from 3.31) and a Dee-troit Truetrac helical gear-type limited slip. The reason for the large swing at the drive ratio is the truck is now wearing a tire that is 3" taller than what it was built with. At 2" taller than stock is when one should start saving some dough for a re-gear. The aphrodesiastical qualities! of the raw scent of 90 weight gear oil does indeed! hang around for a few days, doesn't it. It LINGERS. Ahhh... life is good. Cheers.

@brokentoolgarage Thank you I appreciate that help. Here is my hopeful last issue. my shift linkage bar is a push in style "plug"[cone shaped]. There are no bolts except by the area where the 2 shafts meet. Ive tried to push it back the way it came but to no avail.
@brokentoolgarage3 ай бұрын
@@Arknog89 I take it you have the rag joint unbolted and the shift rod pulled out. The triangle shaped flanged will allow the steering column to move through it, but not release it. On that flange there are 3 studs that go through the firewall. The column and that flange pull out together. Hope this helps.
