What a blessing that you took care of your Mom. My Mom came to live with us after my Dad passed and that motivated me to start reselling (to make room at our house). I also had a regular job but I found the reselling /increased donating of items was liberating. ❤️

OMG Girl, My husband walked in as I was watching your video and he sat down and in under 2 min he said "Hey she's just like you and your room". So, I have loved binging on your series, and you are very encouraging. I have always been raised to "Live Light", my mother has been polar opp of hoarding. But in NOV when my husband received a new diagnosis of Parkinson's I think I lost my mind, and now I have an official HOARD in my office, and over 170 items listed (with many more to come). I agree, when we hoard there is something we are trying to deal with. My theory is I am trying to use the "thrifting" skills Mama raised me with and find a way to make this supplement our income. As his condition progresses I will need flexibility in my "work" schedule and working for myself affords me that. But I was clueless on how to approach it with a business/Metrics mind. Thank you for breaking it down. Some of these BIG TIME sellers on YT talk way over this ol' gal's head. I just wanna grab nice things so they don't get to the landfill, and give them a second life, while earning enough to pay some bills. Love all that you do, and I think I said it on another of your videos--I talk to myself much the way you talk to us on the video, glad to know I am not alone. SAS shoes are the most comfortable shoes you can get. I bought a pair to resell back 10 years ago, they were my size so I tried em on. Best shoes ever, it's the only shoes I wear, I don't care if I'm the youngest person wearing them, they are awesome! Made in the USA, lots of styles, $200 New, so I always get em at the thrift.

I thoroughly enjoyed your 2025 plan video today. My eBay room is a decent sized bedroom with a decent closet. During Christmas it became the wrapping room and I’m almost finished getting it back in order. I’m also NOT thrifting until I’ve listed everything in that closet! Thanks for the AI info. That will be very helpful. I’m 72, a retired teacher and this is just an accidental side hustle. I was gifted some collectible pins and the journey began🤷but I do love garage and estate sales (not many thrift stores in central Oregon where you could make a profit) but I like it and it adds to our fun money. Your channels are my two favorite. Thrive in 2025!

That was such an incredibly moving video of which I know so many people related to your story. 49:34 Sherri, I don’t know if you watch Carrie At Home, but she maintains a 100% STR and her metrics are amazing. Super helpful, slow growth, and no bloated stores. I highly recommend her! She has a growth chart that has changed my business completely. No more deciding randomly how many items to list per week; now, my sales determine my listings. And they grow at a sustainable rate.

Your comment regarding cross listing was spot on! I am one of those that was disillusioned by the "easy Peezy", click the button, cross list everywhere - so I finally took the plunge. I'm still using that cross listing app but I'm not enjoying it. Your brain works just like mine. I just bought amazing totes that are 5 high, locked together and open in the front. I categorized everything and have been busting butt all weekend so I can pull it together. I also do quadrants. Love your videos and you are hilarious! Even my husband enjoys watching your videos. Been on eBay off and on for decades, now retired I GET it, part-time is all I want. Not gonna break sales records, but I do OK, get sales most every day. I recognize other sellers I follow on this video, making it even FUNNIER > like Cayley and Justin and the Nurse Flipper. I doubt I will ever have a youtube channel, but IF I DID? I swear I'd want it to be similar to yours. More than a bit funky and LOL funny and creative while still sharing great info. You ROCK! (PS. Skip those silly "shorts" - I do). A few weeks ago I watched that video about your mother. VERY different for you, also very compelling. Not only did I watch it ALL - also sent it to a friend who is doing a similar caretaker gig right now for a family member with dementia, and I help sometimes, it's been dragging on around 2 yrs and - brutal! After watching your story I also went to your eBay store and bought something, just wanted to support you (a black sleeveless top you shipped around Christmas Day) positive feedback coming on that, promise - just opened today, have not tried it on yet. You'd get glowing feedback either way, chica. The eBay processing room "the USS Mess Express' YES, LOL got one too. A disaster right now, pretty much always is, truth be told, just now worse than usual. My Mess Express is a tiny bedroom, like 10X12 ft is all so ... I spill out, even if I try not to. At one time I cleaned out the closet in there, now it looks like that closet vomited shipping supplies! My desk in there is also my photo shoot place, so there's constant moving crap around, losing things and general eBay chaos. My listed inventory is very well organized, the rest?
