Sorry, this'll be long & it's not against you or anything you say. We all have our gifts & somehow I see things others miss. The Bears had an amazing draft, yes. But there's an issue. We saw how mere p[lay-calling can reduce True Contenders to being a laughing stock with mostly the same roster (the Eagles), right? Lamar went from Daniel Jones to MVP-calibre. So play-calling matters, right? Matt Eberflus shows signs of being as bad a micro-manager as Frank Reich (I have videos that show he meddles with the o-line which as HC you either tell your o-line coach what to do then let him do it, or you replace them. You don't show your players that you don't trust Their Coaches). So, 1) Eberflus brags to the press that He Decides what plays to limit the offense to. 2) There were streaks in '22 & '23 where the play-calling got WAY better. 3) The 2nd such streak was right after they acquired Montez Sweat & a new DC. So, while this is conjecture, it does seem likely that the shift was due to Eberflus being busy acclimating them to the team & that the improved play-calling came when Getsy had less of Eberflus deciding what plays to limit him to. This means that Eberflus A) was the one behind the play-calling that started the '22 season which was more predictable than Matt Canada's, & B) *cancelled all the plays that improved the offense's out-put twice.* Why tf would any HC _DO_ that? There are two possibilities that come to mind that aren't mutually exclusive. But the point is that if Eberflus can't keep from meddling, we have to take into account that he halved the production of a QB with Caleb's same skill-set. I'm not ranting without a reason here. It's the same everywhere I look. I prefer not to link videos made by other potentially competing channels without permission but I _can link_ videos showing that the o-line sabotaged Fields repeatedly & it's with plays you can't find anywhere else. But even the RB issue where they had 4 potential #1 RBs on the team last season & couldn't decide which to use. Why not trade 1 or 2 to a team that needs 'em? Also Roschon Johnson is considered to be the Beat Pure Rusher in last season's draft & was measured as being faster in games with the ball in his hands than he's timed in practice. If I'm right about 'Flus being a micro-manager he won't see the field much because 'Flus won't allow anyone He Doesn't See Do Well In Practice to see much action. Play-calling matters.

This is gonna be a common theme in my comments but as someone who only returned to watching the NFL because he found analysis channels, bear with it. No one is excited for the Raiders' QB except me. You know why? I didn't adjust my ability to assess based on the existence of Stroud or Mahomes. AOC is progressing just fine & if you're the Raiders, you want to see if he improves in his sophomore year before you fall to your back-up plan. As far as Minshew not thrilling anyone, his raw stats say maybe you should be. No one thinks Trevor Lawrence is a bust, right? Yet in one less game Minshew has one more TD & 15 fewer INTs. I imagine he has fewer fumbles as well. See how popular memes are often _really_ off? Since you're relatively new to doing these may I make a humble suggestion? No one else is doing this & being able to offer something no one else does can be a key in growing your channel. Rate prospects based on their ability to be contributors: first year, % of snaps versus part-timers etc. including reasons for. Prospect A may be better than Prospect B but won't start on the team that drafted him because of strength at that position. It's extra effort, sure but could pay off. Them's muh two cents.

Just a little fyi: Trent Williams. Remember how the Steelers' defense really showed how badly they relied on Watt when he was injured in '22? When did the 49ers hit their surprise losing streak? When Trent was injured. Coincidence?

Don't forget the ridiculously bad coaching staff in Detroit with stafford. He's had Joe Lombardi and Matt Patricia calling plays for him when he played in Detroit. Two of the worst offensive coordinators in NFL history. The best offensive coordinator that he had in Detroit was Darell Bevell who got his play calling duties taken away by Matt Patricia after a season.

Bucs nailed this draft. Irving will surprise you even though he won’t be asked to do a lot. Healthy scat back who doesn’t fumble - solid RB pick. Top four picks will have an impact this year. Bucs win the division for fourth year in a row (five straight playoff appearances).

I want to make this worse for all Bears fans. There was a 5-game streak in '23 where the entire offense was better than the rest of the season. That streak used the same plays used for the 3-week streak of being the #1 offense in '22. Zach wilson has never even had One Game where he wasn't inefficient. Fields led the NFL in offense with WRs Mooney & Claypool to throw to, two guys more famous for dropping passes that hit them in the hands than catching them. Has Josh Allen ever done this with Stefon Diggs or Joe Burrow with his élite WR trio? Or Tua with Hill? Or *Mahomes* with Hill? But talk about hating a guy for no reason, Bears Fans said only this of that 3-week streak: "he didn't win any of those games." Damn. I forgot how Tom Brady always played Every Position On Defense as well as caught every pass & kicked every FG. That's why I'm doing this. Bears fans do not deserve an élite QB. Why? Because you had one & you hated him for it. We know who was calling the offense the 5 weeks this season that the offense was better because it was the 5 weeks following the acquisition of Montez Sweat & the hiring of the new DC. Eberflus was too busy to what he bragged about doing, deciding what plays to limit the offense to. Since the plays used during that 5 weeks were the same as during the 3 weeks in '22 we know those were also Getsy. Since as Shanahan, McVay & Reid illustrate, the OC cannot override the HC & we know that ALL of Getsy's 8 games were all better than all of the ones Eberflus limited him, we have a 100% correlation between Fields' production & play-calling. & now Getsy's gone, but the guy who called the plays that halved the offensive scores remains. Bears fans saw all this play out & blamed Fields. But I'm gonna go one better. Take a look at Fields' college highlights right next to Caleb's kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3uyYoOpqtV5lbc. Do you _see_ it? Not only is Fields the better rusher but if you count the times they're off-target enough to be The Reason the defense makes a play (inches) or just WAY OFF target that you know that the throw would be an INT in the NFL. Fields throws 2 passes that if they were about 8 inches further, the receiver might not have been immediately tackled. But Caleb throws at least TEN PASSES inches off to "how the hell did the defense not make a play on that ball that hung in the air for half an hour?" Fields is the better QB! HAAA-ha HAA-ha HA-Haaaaaa... Bears fans resigned themselves to allowing the Bears to eff over Fields & tried to bury their guilt by thinking that he's better off elsewhere & they got their generational QB! But they traded the better QB for less than you could have gotten for the inferior Justin Fields LITE! I hope they enjoy their 4th or 6th-rounder.

@hunterhollingsworth2316 - Even as a Lion's fan, he doesn't get the GB draft! 🤣 Pack remade safety room, as I really like Oladapo who hits hard, Monk was a solid GD @ Duke with a great RAS score. King is a nice get in the 7th. GB moving to a 4-3 next season, and need depth @ LB & S to run disguised coverages @ the 2nd & 3rd levels. People often don't see outside of their teams. I think some of us even know our division better than outside commentaries. GB has drafted well twice since Roger's left (especially Reed! 💚🤍), i dunno wth he🎙 is talking about, tbh!! 🤔🤣🤣👍🏾

Said elsewhere is the players drafted were all leaders and very aggressive players that followed through on every play and were unafraid to tackle. Agree? I was an advocate for trading down and taking a tackle in the first round but do not know what opportunities we had to do this. My trade-down strategy could have added as many as 11 top-120 picks (trading down progressively to 10) but generally I thought to trade down only as far as 6th or 7th. Are Commanders convinced that a tackle will fall to them after being cut elsewhere? Good players often have no real opportunity to displace an established player with a particular team. Also it has been a Redskins tradition that they have an open tryout every year. Also I wonder if they might make a deal with a CFL or UFL for a tackle. Are you aware of any OT you would target? I think peters is absorbed with this right now. However he is most probably more interested in quality players he can find for the long term since Cmdrs as a group demonstrated little interest in rebuilding the offensive line in their group dynamic. I would have preferred a strategy that emphasized a power running game, such as found (pdf and film) when you search on Redskins Counter Gap. This means building the offensive line. So far I see no reason to depart from my conclusion that Daniels is likely to be Howelled or RG IIIed, but Lady Luck might prevail. I do not like the strategy of lets get a QB who can better run for his life. What teams are overly OT-rich such that a decent OT would fall off the 53-man roster?

I mean I have no delusions that the Niners will win this season, but they will fall apart next season because they didn't get better in this draft or the last 3 drafts. Paying Purdy will cost them dearly after this season, they will fall apart when they make a qb a 50 mill player and he won't carry the team when that happens.

I'm a Bengals fan LB Payton Wilson scares me on the Steelers. Browns getting DT Michael Hall seems like a good fit with their D-line & him DT Jenkins will be compared drafted so close seems like they went to the right teams though. Ravens getting CB Wiggins then dbl down on CB Tampa seems smart. Bengals draft was 🔥 Mims 🔥 DT Jenkins & Jackson like it, Wr Burton love it & TEs I like a lot. Center in the 7th has grown on me I think he's got a real shot. They hit value & need so well to me.

That’s about where everyone had Vaki going. Detroit has a solid roster so they can be more specific in their picks. If they were a 5-6 win team they would have probably not reached for a project. It was high, but they have the luxury of doing that. And if he hits, that right side of the OL will be dominate with Sewell. They got good value in all their other picks. They gave up a late 3rd for player of extreme need that many had as a top 15 or even top 10 player, and one of their next years late 3rds to get Manu. And I think a 4th for Vaki. Not the end of the world and more picks is more money and they got some money concerns coming up. He put their draft at 15, pretty much in the middle and I’d agree with that. I didn’t see anything the Vikings did that would thrill me. I like JJ but it will take a year or two for him to get going and Turner? Have to see how much he helps. Vikings needed to get three starters out of this draft and I think that’s unlikely.
